About the film: Nelly and Nadine meet in Ravensbrück concentration camp. They spend the rest of their lives together. Decades later, Nelly’s granddaughter goes in search of clues. A poignant film about a love story and the need for individual and collective remembrance.

This film is an absolute masterpiece, the story of Nelly and Nadine brought me to tears.
Meine Mutter war auch in Ravensbrück mit 17 Jahren wurde sie dort hin verfrachtet aus Hannover. Mit 19 Jahren kam sie wieder mit 37 kg und meine Oma hat sie nicht erkannt. Sie wurde Tattoowiert am Arm und an der Hand trug sie ihre Lagernummer ein Leben lang. Am Oberarm trug sie immer ein Pflaster im Sommer damit es niemand sehen konnte. Sie hat mir sehr viel aus dieser Zeit erzählt und ich habe geweint das sie so viel Leid sehen und ertragen musste. 😢😢😢

Just saw this beautiful documentary today at Bangalore Queer Film Festival organised by Goethe Institut for the Holocaust Remembrance Day. Such an honour to have Sylvie (Nelly’s grandchild) who was also present for the screening. Such an important film to share with the world and soo beautifully made. Kudos to the entire team! Loved the film editing👌🏾
