I'm thinking someone should show a copy of this onboard video to the guys at DORNA - this shit is LIGHT YEARS better than anything I've ever seen from a Moto GP bike or WSB - the sense of SPEED couldn't be any better- nice job guys!!
@@waster88 sorry, you're probably correct on that one, maybe that would/could change as the cameras get smaller and smaller- maybe Dorna would just allow it in qualifying rather than a race to start ?? -
@@waster88 I just sent a copy of this to my buddy Eddie (Lawson) we raced 250's in the AMA 250 class back in the 70's - he responded with a string of "thumbs up" a few minutes later and said the last time he raced there was in '88 on the YZR 500 in the RAIN?!! WOW - I can't even imagine---
there were races before, 125,250,500, superbike, side etc but stopped because of the dangerousness of the track and the number of deaths... for a few years, the organization of the circuits have been making big changes so that the motorcycles return with the dream of seeing the motogps again

excellent to see both perspectives. because as a spectator i walked around the whole circuit. i was so addicted to the sound of the r1 that i spent almost the entire night at the eau rouge 🙂

Gavity: Off. Absolute madness, those laps. Great recording and total mastery of your bike/equipment. The first sector looks near impossible at that speed and the full open trottle ellbow drag at 6th gear on 8:44 .. mindblowing.
As someone with a strong history of moto racing(10mins of Ride 4 on the PlayStation). I can't say if it's solid racing or wobbly one. All I can say is I enjoyed all the 9 mins of it.

It's spectacular in real life. From La Source it's down hill till Le Radillon. Le Radillon looks like a wall you have to climb. Than you have to flic-flac left-right-left but it's blind. You feel your shock of the bike compressing by the beginning. Great track, love it. Greetz Ivan

Camera on the chin of the helmet. I’d be very surprised if WSB or MotoGP allowed that. But if they did I would prefer it also, great angle!
