Thank you for being there!! Three years ago, at the age of 55, I finally managed to flee my abusive marriage. All my 4 children were grown and left home and the situation was deadly!! I've listened to you as I've traversed my road to my new life. It's tough.... but so much better now.... Keep going everyone. Be kind 🙏💕

There was a recent case in Japan where a young girl was left to wander by herself at a camp ground. She disappeared and her remains were found months later. There's just no excuse for letting children by themselves in the wilderness.

Parents can't predict the dangerous and mysterious things that exist in the woods. I get what you're saying, but we went camping all the time as kids and especially when you live in a heavily wooded state, with very limited aggressive wild life, you feel like you have nothing to worry about. It's not always from people abducting other people, animal attacks, mental illness or accidents that happen in the forest. They actually exclude cases that fit those criteria from missing 411 cass.. There are things about this world that the government is aware of and they choose to keep that information from us. Someone did a 411 documentary and requested all missing persons cases involving people disappearing from national parks. The national park services replies stating no such list exists and it would cost upwards of 1.4 million dollars to acquire one. Sometimes it's from vile people, but a lot of times, 411 cases don't make any sense. There was a case where a little boy disappeared out of his back yard in the 1950s. Within 24 hours, he somehow traveled 8 MILES over rugged and difficult wooded terrain. An experienced hiker set out to determine if it was even possible for an adult to go that far within 24 hours and it wasn't possible. Another Case involved a little girl who disappeared for 3 days, in very cold weather. They believed they were looking for a body, when search and rescue with search dogs watched her walk out of a ptch of fog that had settled directly in front of them. They had searched that area tirelessly already and the dogs couldn't find a trace of her, when all of the sudden, her instant appearance startled the dogs. She was completely buck naked and perfectly fine, no signs of hypothermia... NOTHING. They theorize she must have cuddled up with a wolf or another furry animal that kept her warm, which doesn't make a lick of sense. Other cases where people disappear and later, clothing, shoes, boots, etc are found in areas where the person could have found their way back if that's where they had been, or placed that were already searched DOZENS of times previously. Some of these cases may the the result of disgusting human beings, but the bottom line is that this world is more mysterious than people are willing to admit and things happen all the time that make no sense. They don't appropriately warn people how dangerous woods and national parks can be because of reasons that they condition us to believe are ludicrous. It's not ludicrous, it's physics.

It's important to know that this feud between Simone Biles MyKayla Skinner shows Simone's character as a person, leader and team mate. MyKyla (who issued an apology saying that her statement was misunderstood) DID NOT DISS SIMONE. When speaking about Team USA she said:
"Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t like what it used to be. A lot of girls don’t work as hard. The girls just don’t have the work ethic."
Simone defended each and every one of those girls by publicly sharing those photos of their win TOGETHER, CAPTIONING THE PHOTO WITH "LACK OF TALENT, LAZY, OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS" SHOWING THAT THEY NOT ONLY WORK HARD BUT INDEED HAVE THE TALENT AND DEPTH.

Honestly.. 5 members of my family died suddenly, some so traumatically, all unexpected in less than 2 years. I was left with 2 little girls without their dad, raising them without my mom. They died 2 weeks apart. Followed by my uncle who was the closest human to me.. and then my grandpa. Prior to all the people I listed, my father in law went. It’s been awful, but this has helped. Thank you for all of your love and hard work. ♥️ my heart goes out to Nieleens parents 💔 I couldn’t imagine being taunted. (Hoping I spelled correctly)

I grew up in the 90's and kids that lived in the town's village walked to school from 1st grade and up. It was normal for kids to be roaming and playing with other kids unsupervised. Of course now that I have young children none of that is happening but it is just not the same world it once was. Although the school district I used to go to still has the students within the village walk to school we don't live in that town now.

Jeezuz! I live by the Elkhorn Mountains in Montana!! That place is still very remote and NO WAY is it ok to let kid "go to the creek"! You can als find hundreds of thousands of crystals there. It must of taken the police over 25 minutes or more to get there - it is that remote. There are hot springs that flow through there as well. I always get an uneasy feeling i that area. There are grizzlies and mountain lions there as well. Definately a lot of freaks around here for sure! You should look up the abduction of the olympic skier girl by a father and his son....Same area; about 30 miles west. The olympian got away, but not after much trauma and a gunfight. We have all varieties of criminals and creeps just in my apartment building and city I live in. Okay - so why was the mother in Mexico City?????

It is hard to teach children the balance between being cautious and being fearful. When my daughter graduated from high school, she was celebrating with friends: seven brawny boys and six girls. After a lovely dinner, they stopped at the neighborhood park and sat talking on the swings and other such constructions. Suddenly they were surrounded by a group of boys with guns. They were told to lie down in the dirt. However, they had the luck to meet one of the girls whom I had raised. My daughter was never afraid of strangers, and she knew how to talk to people and to genuinely care about them. Instead of lying in the dirt, she said, "This is my mother's white skirt. If I get it dirty, she'll kill me." The boys said they had killed a "cop" in Baltimore, and were unimpressed. But half an hour was more than long enough to make a friend. Though one boy said, "Just kill them all," not one was harmed. One of the girls gave up her watch, but my daughter came home, not only with my skirt unstained, she also managed to keep a pair of rather expensive earrings in her ears. Be nice to people, care about everyone you meet, even those who carry guns.

I got radiation to treat stage 4 cancer in my groin. Instead of getting little x tattoos, to mark where they would shoot it. I got 4 little x's. They did blanket radiation. 33 doses. For comparison. Radiation is like a tanning booth, highly accelerated to the nth power! My girlfriend at the time said it looked like they took a pot of boiling water and poured it on. 1) it isn't like the comic books where you get a superpower 2) I would never recommend radiation except in the worst scenarios! Chemo sucked, losing all your hair but radiation is demonic torture! I don't even want to think about what those cancer warriors went through.
On a high note, as of last Monday, I'm 1 year remission. None of this is for sympathy as we all get our hurdles in life but more informational purposes. Cancer sucks. And hearing those words from your doctor is only second to hearing them say they've done everything they could.

I recall a former IBM tech telling me that what we received one afternoon training on, he received a 2 week class on. This expanded to more and more types of equipment. Corporate greed fueled by a desparate economy led to very poorly trained techs being touted as experts. Such is the state of technical service today.

WHY WOULD you leave your young kids alone in some forest/park? Even without humans around you got animals. Cliffs. Etc. Like who thinks it's a good idea to let their little kid just chill in an area that even adults get hurt in. Also older siblings aren't the best babysitters, they are literally children too
