Just want to add here that I got a lot out of practising the Win Hof Method. I used to really hate the onset of winter. The deep breathing exercise doesn't particularly warm me up, the way other people have reported, but it has encouraged me to expose myself to cold, and in so doing, I've become more tolerant of being cold.
I started taking iodine. I do a about 12 mg a day but I relieved my cold symptoms with a 150mc dose. My thermostat was set to 78 and I brought it down to 73 now.
Ive been slowly developing that blue finger syndrome thing for so long. Thanks man for finally giving me some info on how i might be able to relieve it

My brother has the same condition of thalassemia. He has to have a blood transfusion regularly. I never hear him complain of cold though. In fact he wore flip flops in the winter and a thin sweater and that sufficed.

I live in a tropical climate. 80°F is cold, 70°F is freezing. Good thing we rarely reach the 70's though it's quite annoying to be sweating all year round even when you're barely moving. I've just started taking a chromium supplement. I hope it works for me.
I live in Florida now so being cold all the time saves on my AC bill. However, and it’s so strange, as soon as I fall asleep I need cold air and will wake up sweating if it’s not a certain temp. As soon as I’m awake from being hot and my brain wakes up I’m freezing again. I’m not menopausal age, it’s not hot flashes.

I have not had a cold for over twenty - eight years, flu, or any respiratory issue since being a carnivore with keto protocols. Sat fats and intermittent fasting for 18 hours a day every five days. For me personally I got used to it so much easier fast paced walking in 50- 36 degree weather with a light hoodie but always only shorts on. AAALWAYS so cold in wintertime when i strictly stopped any sugar thing (even fruit etc...) i was pleasantly surprised discovered my hands&feet were not cold as tgey used 2 always bee.

Northern Europeans have thousands of years of adaptation to a colder less sunny climate. Maybe try taking bilberry pills, and beer in small amounts for the brewers yeast and selenium in it, especially if your ancestors are from France or further north.
Good points, certain races probably have things down to the dna level that make them more or less tolerant. I see African Americans where sweaters inside dance clubs, which are a sweat pit. But they seem totally chill.

I suspect most of this condition stems from insulin resistance as it's true for myself who was looking everything under sun and failed to fixes the issue until I fixed my insulin resistance.
Believe it or not even during the summer when it’s 80 degrees, I STILL have the space heater on. I swear I could go to the Sahara desert and still figure out how to be cold. 🤣 I have always been cold 🥶 since I was a child
My husband only weighs 135 lbs and he's 5ft 10. He only eats sugar, drinks pepsie smokes and he's always cold and moody. Sugar crashes are constant naushes. I think he's diabetic or worse. He won't listen

I have Hashimotos and used to be cold ALL the time. Then i got off grain. My circulation has improved so much I am warm when others are cold.

My issue isn't I'm not cold but when I go outside , anything under -10 actually hurts. It burns. Am I just getting old ..I'm 50..
So I am one year vegan. B12 was fine. Only issue was Vit D so why am I always cold!!!!!!! I take a zinc supplement and iron. I work nights, I’m an RN. Everyone is always cold. Had thyroid checked and not that. Now what???

Cold intolerance is a well known symptom of hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormones. 👍

I suspect most of this condition stems from insulin resistance as it's true for myself who was looking everything under sun and failed to fixes the issue until I fixed my insulin resistance.

Believe it or not even during the summer when it’s 80 degrees, I STILL have the space heater on. I swear I could go to the Sahara desert and still figure out how to be cold. 🤣 I have always been cold 🥶 since I was a child

Is there a chance if you are lactose intolerant and you still consume butter, let's say, to feel cold?
My husband only weighs 135 lbs and he's 5ft 10. He only eats sugar, drinks pepsie smokes and he's always cold and moody. Sugar crashes are constant naushes. I think he's diabetic or worse. He won't listen
