This is a very fine rendition of one of Francesco's best known pieces. I love the sound of the instrument, particularly how the sombre tone of the lowest courses enlivens the bass line.

The octave fret appears to be set across the body of the instrument rather than on the actual fingerboard - is there a reason for that ?
