You remind me of myself . Came to USA as a legal immigrant at the age of 20 . No education . Did not finish high school . Became a plumber helper at age 17. Became a master plumber at age 24 . Age 30 own a plumbing company with 18 trucks . And own 4 homes and making rental income . Thank god I did not waste my life studying and accumulating all that student debt and without an education I made roughly 400 k a year after taxes .
I just legally immigrated to the USA (3 Months ago), I am old (30 years old), and I just started as an Electrician apprentice! And I love it, the trades are awesome, I hope I ll eventually get to be successful in this amazing country
Except once you get to a certain age or an unfortunate injury, you likely no longer able to work in any trades career. High pay comes with high risk in this career.
@@WiCapitalco That depends on where you live and how student loans are structured. But if you're student and working part time there wont be massive debt to pay off. Btw ppl that amass over 100k of student debt are usually in pursuing a high end field like doctors pharmacist lawyers etc.... Their future income is more than likely to cover the debt. Also you need to invest that kind of money no matter which country you go to. Professions like doctors lawyers all pay that much for school.
Luke J. / Nexus wrong. There are linemen well into their 60s that retire with awesome pension benefits. Most likely gaffing the pole was just for show and he usually uses a cherry picker.

Then we blame our children for being underemployed with crippling debt.

To add to your statement, parents make their kids go to college regardless of their goals, but COMPANIES also generally require their employees to have a college degree, especially for better paid work, so it’s not like the kid who’s not going to college is just saving himself some debt and being smart; he better have a plan because unless you go to trade school or enter a dangerous career like this one in the video, you’re screwed.

We need more self made millionaires like Alex. Hard working, entrepreneurial, and discipline!
But our system is this:
- Banks provide our children with credit cards with no income.
- Parents expect our children to go to college regardless of future goals.
- Companies convince our children that latest and greatest products will make our lives better.
Then we blame our children for being underemployed with crippling debt.
fataznboi911 I bet you everything that alex and guys like him had the same issue but he chose to go a different route at the end of the day stop listening to your parents and society and be accountable for your future if you really care about it. go out get some knowledge on finances and what careers to go after instead of doing what everybody tell you to. Its your fault if you get traped in this issue own up and take initiative of your future stop being lazy!!!

Katie Dwyer lol chill, karen, get your attitude elsewhere.
I’m 30 and for the past 15 years I’ve been a laborer, I have 3 kids I’m lucky to make 30k a year I pay 1200 a month rent... I’m loosing not only my sanity but my body. Stay in school kids use your head not your back.
HE IS GOALS! may he continue to make his dreams a reality for both himself and his family. 💖💖💖
Wow.... I want to be like him
My brothers a lineman at a private company and he’s been doing it for almost 3 years and he’s not making this much. It takes a long time to build this type of career but it’s worth it.
Linemen in other western countries don't make nearly as much as this guy does, and I see the most in the USA makes 78K, so this guy is definitely lucky to be making 40K more than that.
jesus christ!!!!!!! he saves 7k a month?????????????
Guru Prashanth 🤷🏻♂️that’s y he is also good at making money
LOL he certainly makes enough. I'm trying to save 3K a month
Crazy eh? He can retire early with that savings.
Guru Prashanth I need to step up my savings game 😩😩😩😩
Blessed be his name, we love you Lord❤🙌😁
He knows how to budget and he makes smart financial decisions, that's why he has the income he does. Most people would never be able to achieve this because they are always focused on buying the latest and greatest to impress others. Most people also don't have the work ethic to achieve this.
If this guy spoke any slower he would speak in reverse
😂😂😂
It happens when your first language isn't English.
That’s what happens when you think about what you’re going to say.
Try 1.25 speed
Smart man, he’s allowing himself to be financially stable due to his multiple sources of income.
Wow...just...wow...saves $7000/month?...im speechless..
I used to be a linesman in Scotland. The pay was £27k basic, but with OT it was £30k. Other companies paid £36k. Which is crap considering the amount of travelling involved, missing special occasions and ruining relationships. Job in Scotland isn’t worth the money if have a family.
I’m 23 years old and I’m making $4,300 a year while going to college. 🙃 no hate to this guy, a lot of respect for him! Hard work pays off and I’m glad he’s making bank!
ahah is he the latino version of Graham ??
Except this guy is working his butt off in daily dangerous situations while graham wakes up to this kind of money monthly.
Bayern Munich Pick and choose you’re battles
Jean Francois who is graham ? That everyone keeps talking about lol
@@therealjasonc1243 youtuber. Has a channel about finance look him up
Lmao!
I feel bad for every person who’s in their 20s or above and still believes degree = wealth while these high paying Trades careers are having such shortages they’re literally paying salaries *during* training. Seriously.
I'm 15 looking at plumbing as a career
24 years old and already so successful! It's so great to see how he saves, invests, and has a plan for reaching his goal of becoming a millionaire before 30.
I can totally relate to his family values since I also come from a family of immigrants who have sacrificed so much to give me the opportunity of a better future! Family is everything!
Keep up the great work!! You'll reach your goal in no time :)
I definitely did not realize overhead linesmen make that much.
Yep they do and it's dangerous and work work at anytime on any day.
They didn't but in the US you can make a lot money with overtime.
Usually fulltime pay for linemens is$ 60.000 -100.000 median $70.000
You don't. Here is the data www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes499051.htm#st
half his income is from properties and his self-start business.
@@mariosblago94 I guess you didn't read the description for the video. That's not true at all
As I child of immigrant parents, I've come to realize that nothing we do can truly pay them back for their sacrifices. No amount of money can do that. This is such a huge burden to carry on your shoulders. Just give them the unconditional love they deserve and don't think you need to pay them back. You are probably a wonderful son or daughter already.
This guy is literally how I dream of being when I'm 24. I turned 20 yesterday. I make 60k contracting and am saving for my first rental property.
The Puppet Of Everything awesome! Keep it up you’ll be way ahead of me
