Here I share my journey from a complete novice horse rider to now competing at horse of the year (HOYS) shows whilst being a completely self-taught equestrian.
I have failed so many times over the years but always learnt something from it, I hope that my UA-cam channel will be able to help teach you all the little bits that nobody seems to share and help progress you on your riding journey quicker than I did on mine.

I compete my 4 Welsh section D cobs regularly in both in hand and ridden showing, from local level shows, affiliated, WPCS, RIHS, to HOYS qualifiers,
Willow - 11yr old Welsh section D - Sooty palomino
Gambler - 9yr old Welsh section D - Black roan
Champ - 7yr old Welsh section D - Buckskin
Donut - 2yr old Welsh section D - Chestnut roan
I am a completely self-taught horse rider who has a big dream to compete at HOYS, why not follow my journey to see if we can make it,
I'm not perfect and I make mistakes but what we learn from it is what truly matters.

@kellybiddulph421 I have 3 children, all boys, Jamie 21, Adam 19 and Lewis 14
The older two loved the horses and both rode untill they started driving and got girlfriends,
There always down the stables, but they now like doing the maintenance of the yard and haven’t ridden for years

Showing in the worst of weather conditions is what makes a real future champion . It is all valuable experience and never time wasted, especially if you learnt something from the experience. Keep going...keep moving forward x
Oh yes it does, you have to be completely dedicated to show in all weathers which Lewis is, he is not put off by the weather at all.

Aww well done Lewis & Gambler, you looked really well can see Lewis's confidence and talent coming on in leaps and bounds 👍 like I mentioned in another video I would love to come and watch you at a show, unfortunately im in Sheffield Yorkshire! So unless you come up nearer or Im near you it might be a problem lol. At least I have your channel to keep me happy. Take care ❤

We definitely need the rain, the ground is rock hard again although I wish it would rain all night and be sunny during the day 😂 x

Yes he has got 5 babies, I know 1 is a part breed but I’m not sure how many colt / fillies he had, I will have to ask Lewis as he would know

Well done guys. Gambler has a great stomp of a walk and Lewis does a fab job of running him. He's a lovely stamp. Totally agree re geldings in the championship. They'll never win😡 However they're starting to acknowledge geldings a bit more now finally. My C gelding bombed every time in the championship to a point where like you I stopping taking him in it. Where was the show Karen?
