Steel Frame Roof and Wall Sheathing Installation Tutorial (EP6)

This video explains the installation process of roof and wall panels in light steel house construction. First, the truss roof panels are installed using 15mm thick OSB boards. The boards need to be assembled with shrink joints to avoid creating through gaps. After the truss roof panels are installed, the flat roof panels are also installed using the same method. Next, the wall panels are installed after checking and correcting all the walls on the current floor. The OSB boards are pre-installed using countersunk self-tapping screws, and then the outline of the wall and the door and window openings are drawn on the back of the board. The nailing requirement during installation is to nail the board edge to the wall keel, with a nail spacing of 150mm, and nail it to the wall keel with a nail spacing of 300mm for the inside of the board. The boards need to be assembled with staggered joints to avoid through gaps. Finally, after the installation of both types of roof panels and wall panels, the construction of all the main structures is completed.
