I never bothered with the AR challenges and achievements in the past because I remember the Completionist giving them hell. I chose not to watch the Arkham Knight video until I was well into trying to complete it. And I regret it. Word to the wise who might find this? Learn to set your own completion criteria. Find where the game stops rewarding you, stops offering new content, and certainly don't be pushed around by achievements that ask too much. They could ALWAYS expand the runtime and completionist map of a game by making a stupid challenge like Gear of Wars "seriously" achievements. Or those fucking Korok seeds. I 100% Breath of the Wild. I did not find all 900 Korok seeds. And I won't. And I will continue to say I 100% it.

The predator maps are fun sometimes, the time constraints are not too bad, but telling players to also use specific moves and takedowns to complete the challenge is just pushing it. The Batmobile race and battle challenges are just bonkers. I might do them when I feel like it. Probably won't. And I always save Riddler for last, and to date, I have never caught him. 247 trophies? Not worth my time. I find what I can and leave the rest.
@@ebappiah i have gotten all the riddler trohies 3 times, its really not that hard if you just save them till last and interrogate every single riddler informant you see from start to finish of the main story and side missions

What I hate are the guys with the shock rods, and the riot shields. Seriously, every time I try using an aerial attack, I just dodge out of the way instead of climbing on top of the enemy. Plus I hate it when I'm trying to direct Batman to a specific thug, but he instead attacks a different one.
Hey. Regarding the Brutes spawning before 1 050 000 points. To prevent this be sure to make to at least x110-x120 combo without using (or rarely using) evade. For this unlock Freeflow Focus MK II upgrade and just do basic punches and critical hits. Those are basic punches done without mashing the attack button (1 button pressed for 1 enemy basically). Each critical hit done while you have yellow xMeter (with Freeflow MkII) counts for 3 hits to your combo. Ive done this trophy quite a few times and helped multiple ppl at this point. The highest i got while doing basic punches first was 150x combo. Just make sure to change the strategy to batclaw slam+disarm (weapon breaker) when there at least a couple electrified enemies or shield/ shocker guys and follow the description.

How to - not - use the batclaw special takedown on PC? Every time I use the batclaw (quickfire 2 + 2 plus left click) it ends up using a special take down. How do I not use it?
@@trey247 really? I've spent way too much time on Curtain falls. like 9 hours as robin, more than 16 hours as nightwing, 1 hour as catwoman and 15 minutes as batman. Chill in the air took me like 4 hours.
I am so close to getting this done. My highest score so far is 996,000. I just got the curtain falls trophy this morning so hopefully I can get this finished and get this DLC pack done

I remember getting this one a while ago, I now have 100% of the achievements in this game, but holy shit man it’s so hard to replicate again lol. You can still get hit now using the bat claw too lol 😂😭
I did it. 2024 finally. And just to let you know guys, if you want something even easier, you must throw an a smokebomb at the beginning of the level and then deactivate the weapon boxes with your device. Although it takes some time and it might be frustrating to do it if you get to lose your combo on the first stages of the fight.
Just did this one and it was a pain in the ass. I don’t mind a challenge but this one is a time waster, one stray bullet or knife and you’re better off starting again. Unless you reach 800k before you lost your combo points you’ll have a real hard time getting to 1,000,000
Today is 2023 and this grappler not always work, sometime enemies can ignore your hook and deal damage anyway. So you can't just spam hook. And there are shield guys, guys with shockers, big guys that hook don't work for. You gotta double jump to evade getting kicked for that hooks
I'm pretty sure they have reduced the invincible frame of using batclaw slam, i got hit when I was using batclaw slam. Damn, now it's even harder...I got 330 hits like 700,000 something, then was hit by a random punch while i was using batclaw...and this is not the first time, I've gotten hit many times...so frustrated tho...
I did it 2 days ago...the best tips I can give are "luck" ,avoid the crowd and try to do batclaw slams as fast as possible...I finished 100% yesterday. This 3 trophies,Requiem for a Killer,The Curtain Falls and The Chill in the Air took me a week tho,about 15-20 hours play time. IMO this is the worst trophies in this Batman Arkham series because this isn't fun at all. The combat mode has some problems like the bad targeting system...You want to hit the thug, but the game let you hit the thug behind...who is a shield enemy...AND that stop your combo and makes you angry at that moment...especially playing robin, nightwing and catwoman because they can't disarm...

Afirmo isso com base nos vídeos que tenho assistido, analisando muito o jogo, e na minha experiência. Só para constar, ainda não consegui esse troféu, pois na única vez até então que cheguei para enfrentar o crocodilo (hoje é 27/10/21) estava com o mínimo de vida, e um golpe que tomei, foi suficiente para eu morrer, mas também consegui entender o que realmente precisa ser feito, que é atingir a pontuação de 1.050.000. Acontece da seguinte forma: esse desafio, do Clube Iceberg, exige que você atinja 50.000 pontos para conseguir as 3 estrelas, e lá no menu para selecionar o desafio, tem a seguinte informacao: "PARA CADA 50.000 PONTOS ACIMA DE 50.000, GANHE + 1 ( e aí tem um ícone laranja, que, quem joga, entende o que estou falando)". Quando você atinge a pontuação de 1.050.000, vc consegue o vigésimo ícone de premiação, que é exibido bem abaixo das suas estrelas. Ou seja, você precisa atingir 1.000.000 acima da meta das 3 estrelas e conseguir assim o vigésimo ícone de premiação. A partir desse momento os inimigos pararão de aparecer, você deve eliminar o que restam na arena, e o crocodilo aparece. Não está relacionado ao combo, pois perdi o combo umas 6 vezes, mas continuei mesmo assim para poder entender. Como disse, ainda não consegui o troféu, mas resolvi comentar para que aqueles que também estejam em busca, não fiquem sem saber qual é realmente o critério para enfrentar o crocodilo.

Eu tomei um golpe e morri, porque quando cheguei para enfrentar o crocodilo, eu já estava com o mínimo de vida devido às pancadas que levei na luta até chegar no crocodilo kkk daí não teve jeito. Mas pode sofrer dano sim, mas o combo começa do zero de novo.

I decided to try fighting in the style that i am most comfortable with, and that is using EVADE and staying away from the crowd and sticking to the outside. I thought somewhere in your comments, you alluded to not using EVADE, but it was a must for me. Using Batclaw slam, weapon disarm on anyone with a weapon, but especially the stun baton, shield and gun, and combo takedown on those DANG ninjas. The jump over the back and then kick the Ninjas in the back is helpful as well in a pinch. RESTART if the combo is ever broken so as to not waste one's time. Fortunately, I actually never saw any of the big Enforcer thugs until after Croc was down. Oh and I did switch it to EASY. For a nearly impossible and frustrating trophy like this, I had to take the advantage and do it on EASY. Thanks again for the inspiring video. This took FOREVER!! Best of luck to everyone else.
+Zain Chawdry Its the easiest tactics that far. I guess you probably end up failing on counters? They are pretty laggy time to time. You can see it while doing L2+triangle,square combo that sometimes that counter mark keep appearing during combo animation. Once you finish performing a grappling hook attack you might just counter it right away
I finally did it, I thought it would take longer but it only took me about 5 attempts, I guess with the last one I went into "concentration mode" and I did it when Batman had little life left, I'm still in shock 😭
tysm. It is so much easier this way, only thing is that spamming 22 and m1 hurts my fingers a lot more than m1 and m2 lol, gotta take breaks every 200k - 300k points
This trophy and the chill in the air and the curtain falls I still need and I’ve spent countless months trying to achieve them with no luck best I got was 500,000 points
Avoid spamming square or x depending on console but try time your punches, it helps with getting critical hits and multiplying your hit in the combo by 2
When I quickfire the Batclaw it occasionaly does a special combo takedown without any input. How do I stop this? I have no problems with my keyboard and I haven't remapped any combat controls. Thanks to you I got to 550k, but it's still frustrating. Also how do I prevent the brutes from spawning?
Is this somehow changed now, nerfed or whatever? Since there is no way for me to reach around 100 combo before shield and baton guys show up? And every time brutes come up around 700 or 800k....every time, is it time related or what? I made to 1 million and lost combo due to brutes, misery overwhelms me...
Avoid doing combo takedowns, just stick to batclaw slams and weapon disarms, and if you take too long the brutes will spawn, if you lose your combo once just restart, I once got a million score and was short of killer croc by 40000 points and died cuz of brutes, just do it fast enough with no failing and you will get it

Because you either not gotten to x100-x150 doing only basic strikes/punches and counters, or been using evade (jump over enemies) pretty often. The big guys only seem to show up when you do the challenge slow enough. So i always recommend building up the combo to x100-x150 (basically until riot shield and shocker enemies show up) doing basic *Square* strikes and *Triangle* counters (when needed) as this is much quicker than spamming batclaw slam move right from the start.
@@rbs5965 Get to x100 without using X X, then start abusing batclaw slam move which is L2+Triangle, Square. Basically follow the steps i made in a video and described in the top comment and video description.
Wait so you're telling me that I just had ti batclaw slam instead of reaching a x450 combo while using all types of takedowns. Bruhhhhh I'm so annoyed but happy nonetheless because that means someone else doesn't have to keep playing until they reach a zen like state where you outright just seem to know when someone is about to attack
+Bruno Gaspar Because its a special move and you need your combo meter to get yellow to use it. Just do 3 batclaw slams (L2+triangle, square) or 5 basic punches to fill the meter.
It would help a lot if you told the name of the attack you were talking about in the description instead of just saying the buttons you need to press on a controller. (Because not everyone plays on a controller)

Update: I DID IT! I unlocked "Requiem for a Killer Trophy!🥳 I just had to sometimes switch between backflip and Batclaw slam, since some enemies try rushing at me, thus breaking my rhythm/combo flow. The only thing I struggled with was dodging Killer Croc's charge attack. IDK how you avoid that or stop it?

This is absurd. I'm convinced the game designers didn't know how to balance a challenge. Hard NG+ isn't even that difficult, but you'll notice a lot of combat jank as you play. It's never really an issue because of the difficulty. But asking stuff like this of the player... Why? Simply, why?
I tried everything and l can’t beat it. There really nothing l can do and tried for weeks. I always get hit around 250 combo and the ones with the ninjas and swords always messes me up.

I had it around 680,000 points when l lost my combo again but l manage to kept playing and survive until l hit around 1M points in order for killer croc to come out and done it with all the Brutes and everything. I got lucky and kept jumping off and hitting enemies. I wasn’t worrying about the combo after l lost it. It took a long time. It was one of the toughest trophies ever. Thanks for your reply back though.
Depending on which part. If you cant keep up your combo before riot shielders and shockers spawn, you just need more practice with this game's combat. If you cant keep your combo up while abusing Batclaw slam move (after the said enemies spawn), it happens sometimes that either ninjas or knife enemies could hit you during your attack animation.
It sounds like I shouldn't rely on Special Combo takedowns(except for the ninjas and brutes), and only rely on disarm and destroy, while keeping my combo going to 300 or 400? Cause I've only been able to reach 340k before dying.

You are taking people down to fast. By using batclaw slam and not taking down medics... it keeps people in the fight longer. Once you get rid of everyone, then brutes and ninjas appear.
I think there were an ability that allowed you to get x3 per punch if you only tap square once (instead of mashing it) between each attack once your combo is yellow. But idr if it was an upgrade or the ability was there from the start.

This was the best exploit ever. You are invincible when using batclaw slam. Only thing you need to worry about is weapon disarms that is it.
The only problem is when the Batclaw attacks the wrong enemy like the brutes or the guys with the shock rods or riot shields.

Youre invincible with the batclaw slam as long as youre hitting electrified thugs.
But if you hit a normal thug, youre open for an attack

item112z, both your video and sfturbo's video were an inspiration. Thank you!! I decided to try fighting in the style that i am most comfortable with, and that is using EVADE and staying away from the crowd and sticking to the outside. I thought somewhere in your comments, you alluded to not using EVADE, but it was a must for me. Using Batclaw slam, weapon disarm on anyone with a weapon, but especially the stun baton, shield and gun, and combo takedown on those DANG ninjas. The jump over the back and then kick the Ninjas in the back is helpful as well in a pinch. RESTART if the combo is ever broken so as to not waste one's time. Fortunately, I actually never saw any of the big Enforcer thugs until after Croc was down. Oh and I did switch it to EASY. For a nearly impossible and frustrating trophy like this, I had to take the advantage and do it on EASY. Thanks again for the inspiring video. This took FOREVER!! Best of luck to everyone else.

+Zain Chawdry Its the easiest tactics that far. I guess you probably end up failing on counters? They are pretty laggy time to time. You can see it while doing L2+triangle,square combo that sometimes that counter mark keep appearing during combo animation. Once you finish performing a grappling hook attack you might just counter it right away

I finally did it, I thought it would take longer but it only took me about 5 attempts, I guess with the last one I went into "concentration mode" and I did it when Batman had little life left, I'm still in shock 😭

Why do the big thugs not spawn for you?

How do you get your combo so high in the beginning? I try pressing square once for each enemy but I either get hit or Batman punches thin air..
You gotta pull your stick to the enemy direction before pressing square

Avoid spamming square or x depending on console but try time your punches, it helps with getting critical hits and multiplying your hit in the combo by 2
When I quickfire the Batclaw it occasionaly does a special combo takedown without any input. How do I stop this? I have no problems with my keyboard and I haven't remapped any combat controls. Thanks to you I got to 550k, but it's still frustrating.
Also how do I prevent the brutes from spawning?

I literally just took out croc and did everything and it didn’t give me the achievement
Is this somehow changed now, nerfed or whatever? Since there is no way for me to reach around 100 combo before shield and baton guys show up? And every time brutes come up around 700 or 800k....every time, is it time related or what? I made to 1 million and lost combo due to brutes, misery overwhelms me...

Avoid doing combo takedowns, just stick to batclaw slams and weapon disarms, and if you take too long the brutes will spawn, if you lose your combo once just restart, I once got a million score and was short of killer croc by 40000 points and died cuz of brutes, just do it fast enough with no failing and you will get it

Nevermind it works just took me a while, this is the easiest way to stay untouched for high combos before the brutes spawn, if you take to long brutes spawn before killer croc and it ruins your whole flow, trust me, I know

I would argue that dark souls is easier
In my game the giant guys spawn very soon and 3 of them. Why here they never show up?
Because you either not gotten to x100-x150 doing only basic strikes/punches and counters, or been using evade (jump over enemies) pretty often. The big guys only seem to show up when you do the challenge slow enough. So i always recommend building up the combo to x100-x150 (basically until riot shield and shocker enemies show up) doing basic *Square* strikes and *Triangle* counters (when needed) as this is much quicker than spamming batclaw slam move right from the start.
@@item112z actually I’m abusing X X all the time. So after x100 what do? Killing the little ones the fast as I can?
@@rbs5965 Get to x100 without using X X, then start abusing batclaw slam move which is L2+Triangle, Square. Basically follow the steps i made in a video and described in the top comment and video description.

Wait so you're telling me that I just had ti batclaw slam instead of reaching a x450 combo while using all types of takedowns. Bruhhhhh I'm so annoyed but happy nonetheless because that means someone else doesn't have to keep playing until they reach a zen like state where you outright just seem to know when someone is about to attack
This is my last trophy and I've been getting through most of the big guys until one of them telekinesis punches me without giving me time to react

+Bruno Gaspar Because its a special move and you need your combo meter to get yellow to use it. Just do 3 batclaw slams (L2+triangle, square) or 5 basic punches to fill the meter.

Sup. You should spam the next batclaw slam before the animation for the ongoing one finishes

It would help a lot if you told the name of the attack you were talking about in the description instead of just saying the buttons you need to press on a controller. (Because not everyone plays on a controller)

Update: I DID IT! I unlocked "Requiem for a Killer Trophy!🥳 I just had to sometimes switch between backflip and Batclaw slam, since some enemies try rushing at me, thus breaking my rhythm/combo flow. The only thing I struggled with was dodging Killer Croc's charge attack. IDK how you avoid that or stop it?

@@item112z Ah! Okay. I dodge rolled a few times, but still got hit. Thankfully, I didn't die before beating Killer Croc. That would have been rage inducing!

To prevent this you can also destroy knives with weapon breaker attack
@@item112z My highest attempt was around 577k, but the brutes started spawning and I got hit. Do you know why the brutes spawned so early?
Edit: I read through the comments and someone said that brutes spawn when you do special combo takedowns. It’s probably on a timer.
This is absurd. I'm convinced the game designers didn't know how to balance a challenge. Hard NG+ isn't even that difficult, but you'll notice a lot of combat jank as you play. It's never really an issue because of the difficulty. But asking stuff like this of the player... Why? Simply, why?
too bad the batclaw is glitchy af on the xbox version of the game and will send out explosive batteranges randomly instantly ending the combo

I always get big guys around 300x score. I never kill medics or use special takedowns.
I tried everything and l can’t beat it. There really nothing l can do and tried for weeks. I always get hit around 250 combo and the ones with the ninjas and swords always messes me up.

I had it around 680,000 points when l lost my combo again but l manage to kept playing and survive until l hit around 1M points in order for killer croc to come out and done it with all the Brutes and everything. I got lucky and kept jumping off and hitting enemies. I wasn’t worrying about the combo after l lost it. It took a long time. It was one of the toughest trophies ever. Thanks for your reply back though.

For some reason my bat claw is inconsistent it will go to batarang or heavy bat rang
That could happen if the timeframe between pressing both triangle+l2 is a bit higher i guess. It should be almost simultanious

I’m having trouble keeping my combo up. Any advice?
Depending on which part. If you cant keep up your combo before riot shielders and shockers spawn, you just need more practice with this game's combat. If you cant keep your combo up while abusing Batclaw slam move (after the said enemies spawn), it happens sometimes that either ninjas or knife enemies could hit you during your attack animation.
It sounds like I shouldn't rely on Special Combo takedowns(except for the ninjas and brutes), and only rely on disarm and destroy, while keeping my combo going to 300 or 400? Cause I've only been able to reach 340k before dying.

@@item112z I ALWAYS use disarm and destroy when the guys with guns, stun sticks and riot shields show up. I think my problem is I've been relying on KOing enemies as quickly as possible. Hense why I only reach 340k before dying?

Why the ninja thugs or the big thugs spawn earlier, when I play?
U prob dropped your combo. Personally, I never dropped my combo and only shields, shock batons, medics and ninjas spawned
You are taking people down to fast. By using batclaw slam and not taking down medics... it keeps people in the fight longer. Once you get rid of everyone, then brutes and ninjas appear.

How does he get x3 hits for critical? I only seem to get x2
I think there were an ability that allowed you to get x3 per punch if you only tap square once (instead of mashing it) between each attack once your combo is yellow. But idr if it was an upgrade or the ability was there from the start.

They didnt dissapear. They just were not able to spawn. You have to be quick enough
