- Finally! After taking a long break from Batman for Skyrim, I gotta come back to complete my goal of 2000 with Batman on Joker's Carnival. Made a few mistakes here and there. Probably could have gotten 2200 if I cashed in the clock a little better.

Something really funny happened to me just now while I was playing this challenge with Nightwing. I was doing a beat down on the Joker against the gate when it opened to let in two assassins. When that happened, I accidentally pushed the Joker behind the gate before it closed again, trapping him behind bars. Batman would be proud. XD

Happened to me today, I accidentally pushen him inside too.
I once trapped Abvamovici behind the gate.
Same thing happened but in the joker fight in the story I somehow pushed him out of the world when the cart came out the doors and hit me and I got softlocked as joker was the last enemy I had to fight so I needed to restart the entire fight

hey @bill a just to let u know iv been bedbound and sick for 5 days but the last thing i did before taking ill..jokers carnival..maxed out the meter without getting hit..thanx for the tip as i was always using my flasher to do a special wen fast freeflow was the key and only use wen need be...ta

I’ve been playing this 9 years on XBOX (actually two XBOXEs and 3 controllers Lol) now and can’t get above 4.5M. That’s not even in the top 100. I think I might have gotten a 500x combo once. The big difference is this guy has rhythm. I’ll be in free flow, do a take down and it changes the tempo and throws me off every time, causing me to either get sucker punched or break my combo.
I just started playing this game again, and checked the leaderboards... 1st place for this mission is 60mil 🤯cant even imagine that lol

Wow, this is... Not really how the fight goes down for me... Amazing work! I find it too unsafe to just keep punching and end up spending a lot of time vaulting around. Even if I execute it without losing my level or combo, I run out of time before I can down the Titan, forcing me to bank at level 6 instead of "wrapping around" for the full bonus. I have managed three medals, but just barely...
Try gettin to level three and bankin then go striaght out from there and u will have more then enough time

Funny the designers had no idea people would be able to cycle the whole thing like this so they didn't bother to program the hammer guy coming out the second time instead of the same sickle guy coming out when he's already knocked out. And a penguin goon titan instead of the same joker goon titan.
Well done and one thing I wanna say is that if you are so good at this you can try catwoman she can get you more combos I think. Because batman robin and nightwing will take a very long time to take down titan, catwoman will decrease the time taking down titan. You should try catwoman, if you do not make mistake, I think you can up to 3000 bro.
Thanks for your support! Actually I know someone who had done 3000+ with Catwoman already. I am happy with my 2200 with her and now officially retired from the Batman games. Time for some new blood to take this game to the next level, which I look forward to seeing when AK comes out.

Is this on easy? When you max out the combo and it automatically rolls over with the bonus you get 4 minutes back. I only get 3 minutes back, so I run out of time before I can repeat the cycle and max it out again.
guys one question? I play joker carnival I break their asses do combos everything ok? I cant reach level 1 . I press f all time but it says just + 1000 .any ideas?
Question if anyone can help me, while doing those challenges how can you do the “A + B” combo thing on Xbox?? Because it won’t show up so I’m confused.

Thanks for the tip :) I try to keep countering to a minimal amount in this map since its also a run against the clock. Also, I have the power gadgets upgrade and it will take him out of focus. This method works well with Nightwing and Robin though

was just curious as iv never bothered with challenge mode until now that iv maxed out all other 3 ps3 games and iv got the goty edition....anyway at the start of ur vid i see for a split sec xbox controls then it jumps to wat looks like pc.....wat are u using...if pc how the hell can u manage that...iv never seen pc version but im guessing it must use a lot of keys....curious.....??? anyway iv sailed thru aa all ac except this one but wont move on to origins till iv did it..i didnt think it was possible for the games to give out so much more gameplay than it already had....i loved getting every riddler collectible without anyones help....i guess my mistake is banking......anyway well done...i like the way ur beating the life out of handy andy then u just jump like a flea and knock out about 4 people then right back to beatdown in the blink of an eye lol....
Hey Thanks! I play on the PC with an XBox Controller plugged in and sometimes the connection comes loose thats why u sometimes see the XB controls flash out. I also have the PS3 version and I found it much easier to score high on the combat maps because the mouse and keyboard is more precise and faster (The thumbsticks on the controller cannot move the camera that fast).
Yes, there are a lot more keys, but a single key for each action really reduced the chance for error when compared to having to press two buttons for the same action on the controller. For example, break and destroy weapons require pressing two buttons on the controller while one key will do the same thing on PC. Plus, I get to assign the keys to my liking. Hope this helps and good luck!
aha ok got u...yea my downfall is usually not seeing the taser coz of camera and i dont want to jump over everyones head like the guy in arkham videosevery hit jump yawn..not really freeflow but i am surprised at his walkthru too because he didnt change his strat at all...just hits counters jumping redirects and all 4 specials then he banks at level 6 coz hes only 13 secs left...he then has to bank again at 3 and just as he does that his next hit gave him the 3 medals...im doing ur way then slowing down when the ninjas come and do a bit jumping as its only way to stay safe till i can get them a takedown...also i always get the one armed guy and hv only seen the joker twice..is it coz he comes after u beat so many of the guys in black.....iv got as far as just about need another 10 strikes to max out meter but something always goes wrong...its giving me grey hair lol...any tips...am i missing something...i have done everything else myself even the 2 campaighn combat expert and master 3 levels each of just combat..its this not getting hit once...i really am considering a rope and a rafter ;) DOES THAT SAY 10TH PLACE IN THE WORLD??? WOW..
Yes, this is the hardest challenge by far in all the Arkham games IMO. If you are just going for 3 medals, the Arkham Video Series is good enough for sure. But if you want to go for a higher combo/score, then the trick is to get as many strikes per second as you can. Its the only way to get more time while wasting as little of it as possible. Thats why you dont see me jump/redirect too much.
It takes a lot of practice to learn the enemy patterns and behavior. For example 1) There is always an attacker: Get into the habit of looking for him when you dont see one, it could be someone approaching you offscreen
2) Ideally you want to be attacking your next attacker, the better you can anticipate the next attacker(s) the more effective you will be. Look for those who are facing you
3) those with weapons tend to attack next.
4) Only up 3 unarmed can attack you and 1 with a weapon can attack you at the same time
5) Those with weapons attack slowly enough for you to strike them at close range without risk
A great place to practice these things is Iceberg Lounge. I jump between these two maps a lot.

Is Keyboard good or Controller for this type fights? I just finished Arkham Asylum. In Controller my Special moves dont work well needing 2 buttons. I realised keyboard does better combos but can't get hang of all the needed buttons and circular movement. This seems so beyond what I can do atm. You played KB/M or controller?
This was keyboard and mouse, you can tell by how quick the camera rotates. I haven't played with controller but I assume KB/M is better, plus you can remap some of the keys (I have disarm remapped to the alt key for ex.)

I always get around 1000x combo and run out of time, the max gauge bonus gives me just a few seconds around that point.
Is there a maximum amount of time?
I always get critical hits too and am pretty fast so I’m not sure how to get much higher without running out of time
I haven't completely tested it, but I think each level does have a max amount of time. Every time you cash in each level, you will get less and less bonus time.
If you find yourself running out of time, just hit F to get the bonus time at your current level
And you were in 13th place jesus after all that

The only one that I don't get is when you go for ultra stun and then a counter happens, but it looks like bat is invulnerable in some part of that 3rd hit?
+TensayAnime yep, AFTER the third swipe of the ultra stun any pending attack is cancelled... or you could say the player has a temp invulnerability. You can be hit if you dont complete the ultra stun in time.

I notice something weird, when I'm in free flow focus, I strike a guy BEfore he decided to punch me and I still get hit, forcing me to spam counter. What gives? Because Batman strike faster than this even before entering into normal freeflow. And apparently some1 in steam forum mention the same problem in Arkham Origins. It seem to be less of a problem w/ Robin, but I'm not sure.
Yes that happens to me a lot, even in freeflow focus mode. Its perfectly normal. Different enemies have different attack speeds. Fast enemies, if close enough can strike you first even if you initiated your strike before they did. It takes a lot of experience to get a good feel for judging enemy distance and knowing when to strike and when to counter. Robin has slightly better reach with his baton, but he is slower. Thats why I like this game so much because there are so many subtle skills to master. Good luck!

It’s really easy when you get into the pattern, but it’s devastating when you accidentally hit a guy with a shield or armour.

The timing is actually lenient once you enter freeflow at x12 combo, but getting there is the challenge.
