Fantastic - first time I have seen this brochure and I’ve been collecting Dinkys for decades. Unlike previous comments when I have mentioned Dinkys last forever, these examples often suffered from fatal metal fatigue and are becoming quite rare - even so, I do have several in my collection. 😁 👍🏼
G'day to you, I do remember having at least 2 of these I found whilst digging out a dead tree , all ways wondered if some little boy had brought them out from UK ,the 151b and the 152b,they were brilliant, I sold them to a Collector back in the 70s , wish I hadn't now!
I found one digging in the garden. I suppose they just forgot to bring them in after playing. You should look to get your 2 back by buying them on Ebay or at a market. Sometimes one comes across a bargain price when one is looking. Good luck.
This catalogue is not the 1947/48 catalogue (the USA catalogue 1947/48 does have the same cover page, but has other content). This is the first prewar stapled Dinky Toys catalogue UK of November 1939, 3rd Printing. You can see this from the print code on the last page 2/1139/20 (3P). Three printings of this catalogue have been published, also printcode 2/739/10 (1P) July 1939 and printcode 2/939/20 (2P) September 1939. The first 2 Printings with 14 pages and the last with 10 pages. I own all three. Beautiful catalogues of these nostalgic Dinky Toys period. I am a collector of Dinky Toys and Dinky Toys catalogues and gives me a lot of pleasure.
Vintage catalogs are neat. Thanks for posting.
I think so too!

I fixed a fatal metal fatigued Dinky plane for a friend and as I was near completion I dropped it and had to start all over as it went into pieces.

Thanks for the information. I will make a correction.
