We are so lucky having all the great tracks on our doorstep... Another nice ride, cant wait for some noice weather again. The bottom bridleway of Sunny Brow I avoid while theres growth on it I've been brambled too many times down there lol.
@sawreymountainbikers6470 no ..I'm trying to be sensible it's really not fit for anything other than what for me is a survival ride ..as you know the road sections are the worst possible for us so I'm opting to sit at home pissed off ;-)
@@kryten1021 we're supposed to be doing the Coach Road this weekend.. I'm in two minds as to what to do. Seems such a shame with the weather being so good not to be out there
@@sawreymountainbikers6470 Sundays warming up slightly saturdays still showing plenty of minus temps but I dont think it will be anywhere near enough on Sunday to clear things , again its the risk vs reward for me , I was hoping to do your lap of Thirlmere to try the alternative to the dual carriageway and the bit past the tarn after st johns in the vale church but it's going to wait i think I'm putting that on hold I saw one group did Garburn last friday night and then back over three rivers to staveley and the vidoe of that was interesting seeing them struggling on forstly icy bits of garburn and then worse non the tarmac sections with falls a plenty,. they have cancelled their Friday evenign ride which was planned for Ingleton / Clapham . Oh and a couple of brave guys appear to have done the Borrowdale bash in the snow, pics are in one of the lakedistrict mtb groups so you'll catch them ...... I'm getting old and realise thats too extreme for me lol
