Hi Folks Here's a ride from October. On this occasion we start in Grizedale and head to Coniston and Torver before returning via Coppermines. Now for those of you of a nervous disposition we do use a couple of footpaths and I'm not going to apologise for that! Something a bit different this week. A ride on the edge of Cumbria on the Northern Pennines and in the Eden Valley. We ride a Roman road or should I say the line of a Roman road, top out on Hartside Pass and then take bridleways and green lanes down into the Eden valley, calling in to Kirkoswald and returning via Long Meg. www.strava.com/activities/12581222280

So I finally returned to Thirlmere to finish filming the ride we did back in July, you know the one that I previously put on the channel. Well, we had just about everything on this ride and despite the descent that wasn't at the end, I think I can safely say everyone enjoyed it. I do a lot of research when planning a group ride so when someone suggested an extension I was sceptical to say the least.
