I'm lucky that I have travel insurance through my work insurance. But it's always a good idea to buy coverage if you don't have. You never know what could happen.

Everything is on the Government of Canada website. But the wording does confuse a lot of people. Like how it say there is no personal exemption for a stay under 24 hours. This pretty much just means you can be subjected to taxes and duties if you weren't in the US for more than 24 hours.

I brought cash but used it all and had to use credit card also.
