The next week of episodes mark the first time the blue backwall behind the top tier celebrities would be used, then the rotations of the bottom center seat begins then eventually, the applause after the first celebrity introduced begins.
For the ________Plus super match it wasn't on the air yet, but I was thinking Password Plus. But that wasn't on the air for another year. No doubt that would have been Betty's answer had it been on the air at the time.
5:23 It actually does go around a full rotation from where it started, though I can't tell when she let go. She would have been playing with Charles for $10K.
It was definitely close, but it looks like she let go when “Brett” was centered under the white line above her head, which is about where it was when it stopped spinning. If I was judge in 1978 without the benefit of instant replay to see precisely when she let go, I would have ruled that too close to call and had her spin it again, too.
I was surprised by Gene calling that contestant a young broad. Someone mentioned in this thread that the woman didn't return for the next game. Maybe that's why.....
Yeah. Most of those should have matched. Ira was being exceptionally stupid that day. As someone else mentioned, she eventually won. Otherwise, she would have been called back for a do-over.
Beverly White Wilson, the champ at the end of this episode, did not return for the next episode due to an illness in her family. Did they ever bring her back?
Gene to Richard: "This eye infection seems to be hangng on! You had it last week and you have it this week!" Translation: "I totally don't believe that you have an eye infection."

I love Charles 🤗
Dorothy Coker he’s my favorite. He’s wonderful in The Ghost and Mrs.Muir

Terrific win for a tremendous player! Thank you Paul on an enjoyable Match Game!

Barely, but the wheel does indeed go around one full time...

Halfway in I declare this a gold star episode, but I'm biased because, anything that makes me laugh my head off is a gold star episode

her first spin was good. play for $10000 with CNR
Those big Sally Jessie Raphael glasses!

Who’s Millie?
Betty's mom , I think.
@@pencils812i don’t know who millie is but she isn’t betty’s mum. Betty’s mum is called tess.
Caught and arrested is the same thing!
isn't getting caught synonymous of getting arrested?
arrested means stopped.
In a word: No. (Look it up.)
@@SeekerNJWC in the context of this question, yes it is. (Listen more closely, and take CONTEXT into consideration. Ever heard of context?)
Except Match Game PM, the star wheel landed on Richard Paul 4 times and Betty White 3 times.
11:44 “oh i hope so” 😂
IMO the "caught" should have matched all the stars.
Hello Jo Ann!! 💋
Circus Circus would have been my choice.
The lady answered “caught” which she meant as arrested. Not sure why they didn’t match that..
Well she won the game, so it was all good.

Maybe she didn't return because Gene called her a broad on national television.
@@pencils812 They actually did bring her back, but failed to mention her previous appearance. Look for episodes 1318-1319.
The next week is Richard’s last week :(
And he will do one last Match Game PM that week.
Thank goodness.
@@proud_brettsomersfanclub8687 who gives a shit!
Bringing about the ultimate downfall of MG. But don't despair, he went on to bigger and better things with FF.
@PROUD_BRETTSOMERSFANCLUB .... do you mean the drama queen that had to be the center of attention?
Gene to Richard: "This eye infection seems to be hangng on! You had it last week and you have it this week!"

translation is the shows were all taped that day
He could have, but I just always assumed he was just been his rude self
Why is brett wearing sunglasses
Hangover.
Brett wears her glasses either these glasses or other glasses on and off all the time if you pay attention.
@K Kr leave Brett alone you didn't have to say "upstaged"
@@proud_brettsomersfanclub8687 because she is a drunken ho

Richard Paul is EXTREMELY unfunny, but the last few episodes, he was a really good player!
Is that an awful red-orange shirt or did my IPad go bad?
It's still working.
Has anyone seen the episode that Betty is talking about at the end of the video at 2:50?

Pouty moody Dawson shows his real lack of class when he doesn't get his own way .
Dawson is mad cause they dont pick him any more
Duh! They have a wheel now that spins and lands on whoever
