He wasn't in the studio. so he couldn't redo it if he messed up. he did that off his head, on a phone call. and he had one chance, couldn't mess up. and he nailed it. No pen and pad, no studio, just one phone call. one verse, that they recorded. he was real busy, and couldn't make it. so he did it on the cell phone. that's why u hear the train in the background.
