I still remember the first time hearing Osvald's prelude. Game did a good job of making me hate the Warden's guts, so I was itching for a fight. The second I heard the drums and clash of metal, I knew what was coming, and I was so ready for it.
In pursuit of revenge really brings out the anger and sorrow of Osvald, and at the same time he seek the answer that lies behind his tragic, I just love this music.
I love the build up in Pursuit of Revenge, the oppressiveness of the drums and the other instruments make everything feel heavy. Then For Revenge starts which changes from oppressive to a kind of desperate urgency, like everything could fall apart at any moment (double if you forgot to heal beforehand). But for me the stand out in For Revenge is the violin (2:02 onward), because I think it fits Osvald perfectly. I wish I could explain it better than that, but I don't have the words to articulate them musically.
Same! I love both but I really prefer Critical Clash 1 more. I'm so glad to find this, so thank you! How did you make these btw? Did you rip them straight from the game? Really wish there were more of these set to 1
It's because Square enix has been taking down vids of anyone who uploads just the music it seems. tho some vids of the music are still up with just the music so... idk what's going exactly lol
Your channel name is worth of its title, that is the probably the smoothest transition of the ones I’ve heard so far. And I prefer the excitement of critical clash II!
I thought that Osvalds theme was the weakest of all the beautiful music in this game. Until I SAW. I SAW what Harvey did! Now his music makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE! There is no redeeming Harvey.
I think this trackbis underrated even without it's great even without persuit of revenge While on the contrary i think critical clash II is overrated i'd say both are the same level of great :)
The line: "Promise me you won't lay another finger on that tavern" is a lot more menacing with Osvald's prelude theme
Osvald just burns down the theater when Gil is threatened again.
I read it in his voice
@@killigin BURST FORTH, MIGHTY FLAMES
It isn't us hearing the boss theme, it's La'mani
I started with osvald
I do not regret that decision a single bit

Yeah, but this isn't the music that plays when we fight Warden

And then once he unlocks OTM it sound more like a determined heartbeat of love.
everytime i hear Osvald's prelude, i just have harvey screaming his name at his final battle: "OSVAAAAALD!"
And in DIO's voice, no less!
Love Osvald's story, shit became a Dragon Ball Z fight at the end LOL
THIS, IS THE KAMEYAMAMA!

POV: Osvald in this fight: CALCULATIONS COMPLETE!
LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT IV LEARNED!
THIS IS THE ANSWER!
9,999 dmg
With JP voice on, it's Jojo x Dragonball lol
that fact that Harvey pulls a dragon ball and uses a literal Kamehameha, somehow makes the fight more intense!
Who knew the One True Magic was the friends we made along the way?
Critical Clash 1 is my favorite song in the game. I didn't like it the first time I heard it, but now its become a track I listen to constantly.
Agree. It lacks the initial punch of 2, but the more you listen to it, the more it grows on you
I also agree, I like 1 better because of the build up it has also I think its more dramatic than 2 with it being less cluttered with loud instruments.

I have a preference for the I over the II, i really don't understand why it's absolutely impossible to find beside here, so, well, thx x)

This theme is probably the best transition into Critical Clash 1 in the game.

IN PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE!!!
DAMN CHILLS UP MY SPINE❤
I love you for these transitions, thank you!
Love this music so much
This song goes so hard 💯
This has been stuck in my head for weeks now. Specifically with the Osvald opening
Thank you for this!
"Reduce them to ashes!!"

There is no redeeming Harvey.
And in the English version, you don’t even get the satisfaction of his own ambitions destroying him.
La’mani: “Why do I hear boss music?”
FUCKKKK THIS IS SO GOOD
Thank you!!!
lmao your channel name is so creative ❤
Thumbing revenge filled with strength!

Osvald is big boi. Throne Castti Osvald and Hikari/Partitio
Alternatively it's all the girls, with Agnea on Inventor and Ochette on Merchant, Throne on Scholar and Castti as Cleric
Best transition in the game
Best song 💕
Totally bringing the Fiddler on the Roof vibes from 2:03, and I mean that in the best possible way~
I think this trackbis underrated even without it's great even without persuit of revenge

I wish you didn’t put boss fight spoilers in these videos! :((
Very late, but it's a very irrelevant fight if it helps.
