Engine test? Nope that's a run up prior to taking off from a limited runway. Did the same routine at Hannover in a VC10 years ago, in this case due to noise level of the VC10 Conway engines the aircraft had to climb out steeply to cross the perimeter fence at FL40. What a ride that was:) :)
Thanks for the comment. The plane had engine issues and had been delayed for over an hour. while on stand the engines had been restarted several times to clear a fault. While on hold at the end of the runway the pilot ask to delay the takeoff so he could run up the engines on one side . I hope you liked the video, please check out my other aviation videos.
