SEWB Gathering 3 | Dr Carmen Cubillo (AMSANT)

Dr Carmen Cubillo is a Clinical Psychologist and is a Larrakia woman born in the NT. She has spent most of her working life as a psychologist in private practice and in the academic world. Carmen’s passion is training in psychology and producing quality therapists who achieve good therapeutic outcomes for their clients. Carmen is focused on the early intervention aspect of therapy and hope to develop good supervisory relationships with member services to support their goals for healing for our people.
Carmen’s role at the Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT) is to provide clinical supervision within the social and emotional wellbeing team. Carmen will work with ACCHSs to provide support in their mental health initiatives, Provide ACCHS with information and advice on relevant policies and initiatives relevant to the provision of mental health, SEWB and AOD services in Aboriginal PHC. Carmen is committed to working collaboratively with research groups and stakeholders to ensure our member services are heard and represented appropriately.
