One of the best scenes had this song in the background...such a timeless TV show. It was the main inspiration for GTA Vice City, and was also featuring the voiceover of Philip Michael Thomas as Lance Vance, aka "Ricardo Tubbs" on Miami Vice.
I am 70 yrs young and this song just hits my senses. Than I saw the video and I loved the song even more, quite engaging. So now I am happy that UTUBE had this video CRY so I can listen to it on repeat.

I remember watching this on repeat playing on a loop in Dixon’s electrical store in the 80’s as a child I was mesmerised by the changing faces. Now as an adult I’m mesmerised again but understand the lyrics much more now. Sometimes you have to live a life before the lyrics reach into your heart and have meaning.
This is such a haunting song, especially in the dark, alone with my mind making videos of all the hurting of my life and tears silently falling into my pillow....

This song always sticks with me due to the video accompanying it. For whatever reason, way back in the 80s, I was a kid in a local electronics store in the UK (probably Dixons or similar) where they were showcasing the "latest" Laser Disc players, and one of the setups had this playing on a loop. I remember being mesmerised by the (at the time) amazing crystal-clear picture quality and the seamless transitions between the faces, not to mention the song itself was very captivating. It's stuck with me for 40 years at this point. Something very haunting, yet fascinating about the melody and visuals. Brilliant.
I remember being 8 years old sitting on the rug in front of the tv and this came on the Saturday morning kids show in1985. I was blown away... never heard it again for 30 years or so and looked it up from that vague memory. Awesome tune.

I discovered this song in 2008 2009 thanks to the GTA 4 game. Still gave me goosebumps and memories. Perfect song. 80's gem.
