This is the best camera mode tutorial I’ve seen. No unnecessarily long intro, you time stamped, and the entire video is very concise and to the point. Deserves more views so it’ll show at the top of the search. Seriously, I clicked off of at least 3 others within the first 30 seconds. Your mic is great; zero echo or “empty room static” noise. My auditory processing difficulties appreciate both that and the fact that you put the bullet points in writing on the screen.

Thank you so much! I’m relatively new to The Sims 4, and a lot of people tell me that building is easier when you use both the sims 4 camera and the sims 3 camera, but I didn’t know how to use them-until now!
I've only played The Sims 3 for a very short amount of time when my uncle Doug had it on his PS3 or PS4 years ago and at the moment, I only have The Sims 4, but in my opinion, The Sims 3 camera is easier to use than The Sims 4 camera. 🤣 RIP, uncle Doug! I love you and miss you every single day. 💕

Hi, I've noticed a lot of youtubers playing sims while the walls are up, can you please explain how? I've been looking everywhere. Or can this video apply?
There is a little arrow button on the top right that changes your walls, you can also press the home and end keys on your keyboard to change them as well!
I've always wondered if there's a way to change the angle to vertical, or tilt the camera, do you know? Maybe by modding? Can't seem to find any mods for the cinematic camera.

I never used the sims 3 camera when I had a macbook, but google says to try "Press Command and the up/down arrow ⇵" and "If you have a Trackpad you can also hold down CTRL and right click while swiping up and down." Let me know if that works for you!
When I rotate using the right mouse, the mouse on the screen also moves around as if im not rotating it but it is roating. I hope this makes sense haha. Like when you rotate the mouse stays in place and mine doesnt.

On some laptop track pads, if you use two fingers at once and swipe up/down it can work the same as a scroll! Not sure if this is universal to all laptops but it’s worked with a lot of windows based laptops I’ve owned!
Hi! I play on an Xbox series s. My camera (The sims four one) moves arond, but it won't click on people, to walk places, or items. It's very frustrating and I have tried for serveral hours to fix it and it will not work. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately I have never played on console, so I can’t really help you. However I’ve heard the the most recent game update and changed a lot of the controls for console, so maybe that is your issue!

Hi! This is really helpful, but I have a question, when I right click, it’s not rotating it’s just the screen moves and that really confused me.

@@dizzymisslizzy_ It works, but only partially. it allows me to move forward and sideways, but I still can't rotate the camera.
The camera sometimes DRIFT. Like I'm moving it to a spot and it will slide a little bit further. It's driving me crazy :((

What if you don't have a scroll wheel?
