In Sims Freeplay, you have to complete quests in order to create stories. The time it takes to complete quests are *FOREVER* and most of the quests are time limited. So i prefer Sims Mobile.

I like sims Freeplay because I can send them to work while I sleep or while I'm at school. I like sims mobile because I can help their tasks go faster which means they can level up faster

E.A.S Xando Right. You see, there are much more dynamics to making a great game, than looks. You need all the other elements for a great game, like you can’t have a sandwich without the bread. You can have the pizza without the cheese and the sauce. It doesn’t add up.
It's helpful for someone like me who just realized there is not one but two Sims games for free on the app store. But both games sounds appealing to me. I want pets. But I also want ai neighbors.
i would get the sims mobile but i don’t like the fact that you have to pay to have more sims in your household. it would also be cool to control your toddlers.
Well the good side of things is that you will eventually build up enough cash from playing the game to unlock the other 2 sims. It will take time but unlock the third SIM slot will actually take around 2 weeks or so depending on how much you play and tasks you complete without spending the free cash you earned.
Freeplay: characters just stand there stinking starving tired and urinating on the floor, waiting to be told what to do. Mobile: characters take care of themselves and get on with their own thing without needing you to breathe for them.
Yaa in Sims mobile, player is only HELPING the Sims, every task the Sims said something like: thanks for your help, I feel more confident, or when I open the game, my Sims had finished their long shift, they won't stand at their work space waiting, they're outside at the town talking with other Sims, so the player intention is different with free play, and obviously for different kind of players.
Same. I love how I can have “stories” for all the sims in town. Even with the chalenges and having to wait, I feel like we have more freedom in freeplay. Sims mobile just didn’t do it for me. The game looks much better, but I don’t know, it just didn’t click.

Then after that you have to go do something else for another 8 hours. I literally cannot stand this game anymore. I deleted it and started playing The Sims mobile again. At least there's no tasks that you get roped into for multiple hours. You just have to be smart about how you design your home so you can get the most energy recovery. Plus it takes like 30 minutes to fill back up. I love that on the Sims mobile and 8-hour work shift doesn't actually take 8 hours like it does in the sounds free play. I could literally finish a long career shift within a couple of hours if I play it correctly and take risks.

I prefer Sims Free Play though, I just wish it had the features that’s on The Sims Mobile, hate my sims being so slim lookin like the shape of a Barbie doll.
I honestly like Sims Freeplay way better even though there are some cons, but the sims mobile gets a bit boring to be honest and it has no needs! Needs are one of the most main things for sims games!
I think that Mobile will definitely outgrow and outperform Freeplay over time. Most things Freeplay does better now, is just things it got with the years of being out there. But I feel like Mobile will catch up with it in no time.
Sims Mobile has similarities to Sims 4 and many people love the Sims 4. I think by a couple more months the Sims Mobile will start to outgrow the Sims Freeplay more with updates.(since the sims mobile is new compared to the sims freeplay)
I think I love both of them, my opinion to sims freeplay that is actually very good, i mean you cant customize the characters much, but still great, problem is that sometimes some ads shows up for reasons, and that it take so long to finish a task, but very good game, ive been playing that since like 2015, and i still have it now, sims mobile, i didnt have that since it was released but when i got a new phone, it was very great, sims mobile has that same experiments just like sims 4, the task take shorts times, you can customize characters body and other thing unlike sims Freeplay, the problem with sims mobile is that you cant have more task, in sims freeplay for example, when you open the mall, you have like stuff to do, like a lot, it takes long but it is worth it (in my opinion), but sims freeplay, they done it easy, but still i love both
Sims mobile looks more like the now defunct sims social. I really like the shorter times for tasks and the detailed create a sim but the lack of cool building is problematic. I don't think I want to play both just because of the time involved. When I first started Freeplay I really missed the personality of SIms social (where you only had 1 sim!) because Freeplay is really about a town and the individual sims are pretty interchangeable. But now, I'm really hooked on the cool building stuff and furniture. Also, the new Sims mobile looks really cartoony to me - that is typical of mobile games. I get why free games are so much more limited than the Sims main game but I wish there was a middle ground i.e something that costs money to get more features, but isn't as expensive as SIMS 4 (it really adds up with stuff packs and expansions).
It would get very interesting if a serious competitor entered the market for simulation and building games. EA dominates this area on multiple platforms and it's impressive that The Sims franchise is still going strong after all these years (in terms of revenue/profit) -- but healthy market competition is good for players AND companies, in my opinion. Side note: AGREED about the cartoony look of mobile games, don't even get me started. That's actually a strength of SFP for me, that it looks nothing like Kardashian or Episodes or whatever else! -Lyla
I'm surprised no one has complained about the "energy bar" in the sims mobile. For every Sims game, there has always been a needs bar to get your sims through the day. The sims mobile didn't add the needs but instead added an "energy bar."
I love both, they’re really fun and I kinda made up a story in my head with Sims FreePlay, Sims Mobile is a prequel to the Sims FreePlay in a way. I have one sim in my sims FreePlay who’s been the centre of it all and her name is Alex Minecraft (she’s based off of Alex from Minecraft) and she has two “sisters” Hailey and Adeline. Alex started it all for me and I’m keeping it as a tradition, now it’s her grandmother Amelia Minecraft taking the lead in Sims Mobile. If I get Sims 4, I’ll make it another prequel where it’s Alex’s parents where it’s going to continue on her story past the timeframe that FreePlay has created. I’ve been playing Sims FreePlay for almost 3 or 4 years now.

Yeah, I prefer sims freeplay than sims mobile, you can express more creativity with sims freeplay and control your sims freely unlike sims mobile which limits you to interact with things or to someone. But if the features of sims mobile be same with sims freeplay like its sims features then it would be great as to nearly with sims 4. So excited, expecting more from sims freeplay group.
Here is my opinion on which is better: I like Sims Freeplay better. Ok so im going to be fair about this why Sims Freeplay is better than Sims Mobile. Sims Freeplay-You can do a ton of stuff! But the problem is it takes a very long time to do a task. Sims Mobile-It's very quick to do a task than Sims Freeplay. But it's boring because you can't really do that much like we don't even have needs! I could go on and on but I don't want this comment to be to long. Anyways have a nice day!
I prefer sims mobile because things are more easy for me to use, and in my opinion sims mobile is intended for younger audiences like me and sims free play is for more serious or older people.
Ashley The Cat the only thing I hope for is that u can have more than 4 sims just like in every sims game(including free play)and the ability to live in downtown(penthouse like in sims 4) and I wish my sims could roam freely like the elders and children’s just like how they do in sims 4 and other sims game
I also want to say that The Sims mobile furniture and technology tend to break and you have to pay to fix it while The Sims free play furniture doesn't break at all.
Happens to me really often. It doesn't make any sense either, like my dining table breaks? How? Toilet breaks after 1 single use. It's simply unecessary and annoying
LadyDynamitez I just figure my sims keep slamming their hands into the table and cracking it. As for the toilet, maybe they need more fiber. Or less. XD
I've been playing sims freeplay for almost two years now. And what I really love about it is the gameplay and lots of possibilities in building your town and your own home. But who wouldn't want a better graphics right? hoping someday sims freeplay would take its game to a whole lot new game experience for us players to enjoy more. ☺️
Well I'm playing both The Sims free play and The Sims mobile i kind of like the Sims free play more but the Sims mobile i like the way the character's models are made on there the sims free play needs more faces and weight because all the sims on there are all skinny.😏
I personally prefer the Sims free play because you can actually control a lot of sims, build super cool houses and have lots of great stuff (animals, an island, controllable baby’s...)
I've never played mobile, but based on the way it was described in the video and the clips that were shown, I don't really think that it's my type of game, also I'm surprised that nobody has replied saying they prefer mobile, like I see a lot of people do every time I see one of these comments
I started with FreePlay but very quickly gravitated towards Mobile due to the sim customization, which freeplay severely lacked. I can decorate pretty well even with a small space, it's the Sim stories that really attracted me to the game over all. The quests and events are manageable in mobile, in my opinion. And I agree that I don't have to grind too much to get what I need.
BTW for the people who haven’t tried the Sims FreePlay or just played like one day, is a really fun game and in a point you’d an ven have elder people, pets, be a witch, build the city or the mall and is great!
I played both as they came out, the sims freeplay back in the days and the sims mobile. So I can say more accurately whats the "best" in terms of starting.
I used to have a Sims freeay game in my old iPad except the quests took too long and also because you had to be a certain level (I think that was it???) and complete a quest to be able to become an elder
Mobile is alright so far. I still like Freeplay better. I’ll keep playing Mobile to see if it gets more interesting. If Sims Freeplay would at least add these features, there’d be no contest. 1. The ability to assign residential lots and business/community lots. Not everything we build in our town is a residence, and it’d be nice to have non-playable characters show up on our business/community lots to fill them up realistically. 2. More face options. 3. Views of our Sims similar to Sims Mobile. We can barely zoom in on our Sims. I’d also like to be able to see houses from our Sims’ perspectives.
Wow I didn't even expect a reply from you guys! But yeah, it'd be a great feature. Plus it's a bit tedious to have to slide over to "view house" when going to a lot no one lives at. The addition of non-playable characters would make lots like the Wedding lot more realistic.
Everyone saying they don't like freeplay bc everything your sim does takes FOREVER! Just download the Sims free play unlimited everything mod . You can skip literally everything and buy anything
As someone who plays sims mobile and sims Freeplay, I like mobile better. I guess it's just the quests and the fact it takes a ridiculous amount of time, money, and patience to finish a small task. Also it takes longer to get money, LPs, and SPs :/ idk that's just me. Also Mobile just came out. So I assume when they work on it more and add updates it'll be like the Sims Freeplay and have a lot of things to do like the older one :D
Sad and BoujeeTM I feel like on the mobile, everything is so expensive. The rooms are expensive to build, and so are the beds. We can’t have two stories, not yet and make our houses better. But overall the Sims Mobile is a little bit like the Sims 4.
I feel like the sims mobile is getting boring the longer you play it. Just same repeated quest. Things are getting push up too quickly. Lack of interaction between family. While the sims freeplay I unable to control them when in certain places.
Sad and BoujeeTM I understand you I much very prefer Sims free play because I spend a lot of money on the game as well as time and money I know it's hard I'm not mad you said this but really Sims mobile is pretty hard as well to get atleast a 100,000 $
As an aspiring architect and interior designer, I personally like Sims FreePlay better. I feel like there are plenty of choices in creating a sim, the gameplay is more fun with more households to control and create stories for, and of course it’s build mode is so much more awesome!
I didn’t like FreePlay. It took too long to do a simple task. Mobile seems to be more fun even tho I do wish I had more building capabilities and pets but on the other hand I love mobile better
seriously though you can meet someone and have a baby with in a time span of four hours and the Sims FreePlay it took me two years two real life years because honestly their challenges are way too long
Sims Mobile hasn't even been out a month yet? How can you expect it to be better than a game that has been regularly updated for YEARS? I'm sure the building feature will get better later on. Also, there is a reason it's two different apps. And that's because they're SUPPOSED to be different experiences.
I don't think the building mechanics in the sims mobile can be improved easily. Its very confined and restricted and the whole build mechanics would have to be redone in order to support multiple floors. At least thats what i think. I still like the game alot. Especially when i discovered sims could retire and i can make whole generations :) Its a good solid game that has been thought out very well. I just wish jobs would pay a bit more money because it feels like its a bit on the low side for now
The main reason I dont like the sims mobile is because there isnt needs. Taking care of the sims needs is a MAJOR aspect of the game that im suprised they just took out.
Keep in mind that the Sims Mobile is called a "Mobile" for a reason. Freeplay means that you're playing a Sims game either on a tablet or smartphone hence the word "free" but has the elements of a regular Sims game hence the word "play". Mobile on the other hand still has some few elements of a regular Sims game but it's only limited on a mobile phone so certain elements had to be taken out such as taking care of a sim etc. If they manage to add the needs to Sims Mobile then it will look more like Freeplay even though Mobile is a completely different game with a different experience.
The Sims Freeplay is alot more quest immersive & it takes a significant amount of time to unlock certain aspects of the game such as life stages; to me this makes the starting levels of the game tedious especially with certain quests requiring a large amount of simoleons to unlock a key building or the inability to move on from the quest & come back later; sending my Sims to work continuously for a week just to open a Swimming Pool made me disinterested. However after these tedious quests the game is fun and entertaining with limited time events and novelty items. I just find it hard to stay interested in the beginning levels of the game (Without buying boosters). The Sims Mobile is a happy balance for me as you can progress faster and choose what quests you’d like to do with babies and toddlers being available at an early level. However it is still an early game therefore I’ll have to see if I still enjoy the game after a Month or so. (Sorry for the long comment)
Yeah, but I think I'm sticking with freeplay because I like putting in effort and I can probably buy lifestyle points, about like, idk. I don't feel like doing the math 😛 (I believe that's what they're called, lifestyle points.)
How far did you progress before you found Freeplay interesting? I tried it some years ago but I got bored of what was basically Long Timed Quests: The P2W Experience™
I have been doing completely fine without needing to go to work, they are a lot more ways to earn money in this game. By finishing quests, planting, fishing and baking
Well it's kind of a 50/50 for me because I like them both and they're both fun.And also if they were to get put together that would be so good like if you agree
My favorite is the sims freeplay because you can do so much more and build way better than sims mobile. Also I have been playing it for years and my Towns and families have grown a lot
The Sims Freeplay is similar to TS2 and TS3. they have the og kinda feeling to it, but definitely better gameplay for me at least. though there will be people, especially those who had never played ts2 or ts3 before, who don't really enjoy the og feeling The Sims Mobile on the other hand is more on the modern apporach like TS4, also with a lighter, easy, simple gameplay, and better graphic for a wider market
I prefer the pc version. Sure I have to pay for each expansion pack, BUT it gives me something to look forward too in the future. I can have kids, have pets, download cc, most of all NO WAIT TIMES! And their are no limits. Phones and consoles all are limited Sims games. While pc let's you do everything
But you don't really need the energy. You can just leave them and they will complete it themselves. You basically spend energy so you can help your sims finish faster. I'd rather have energy than wait my sim to talk to someone for 12 real time hours.
Personally, I prefer the sims Mobil. One thing I LOVE about it is when you’re doing things like sleeping or eating, you don’t ACTUALLY have to wait 2 hours for your sim to finish. And the Mobil is definitely addictive 😂. It’s been one day and my sims already are married and expecting a child 🤧

Right. You see, there are much more dynamics to making a great game, than looks.

David Sent The Sims Freeplay has been out for six years, not eight. Though it is strange to compare it at this point in time.
You can have two active sims, but yeah unlocking being able to have 3 or 4 active a time costs
Donut yah
You can
I think I do-nut no
Well the good side of things is that you will eventually build up enough cash from playing the game to unlock the other 2 sims.
So true
What is your point tho
Yep. I laughed so hard at this for some reason.

Sims freeplay+sims mobile=sims 4 android
Omg, yees
I like both of them, i just wanted graphics and storylines on the freeplay.
Since freeplay has so much more game play.
-Lyla
The Sims Mobile does feel like a 3D version of that Kardashian game.
Elizabeth Slaughter totally true!!
The Sims 4 + The Sims Social = The Sims Mobile
Silent Serenade yeah its just the Sims Social with Sims 4 graphics and more of a money grab.

I started with FreePlay but very quickly gravitated towards Mobile due to the sim customization, which freeplay severely lacked. And I agree that I don't have to grind too much to get what I need.

Agreed on all counts! Hadn't even thought of assigning residential vs business, but it's a great feature of Sims 4.
Wow I didn't even expect a reply from you guys! But yeah, it'd be a great feature. Plus it's a bit tedious to have to slide over to "view house" when going to a lot no one lives at. The addition of non-playable characters would make lots like the Wedding lot more realistic.

Especially when i discovered sims could retire and i can make whole generations :)

Ikkkk!! That's the only thing I don't like about it. But since it's kind of new I hope they update it!
ya agree
Thanks for the long comment! :D It rly helped :)
Daniel hey sims mobile just have one year and sims freeplay like 6
I'm playing Sims Mobile atm, and this video makes me interested in playing the sims freeplay
Sims Freeplay is based on Sims 3.
Yeah and the Sims mobile Is based on the Sims 4
So technically sims mobile is supposed to be better than sims freeplay...
But in my opinion I like sims freeplay better. I’m sorry...😢😢😭
@@rustysponge5112 it's ok bro
@@rustysponge5112 disgraceful. Never give out your opinion ever again
The Sims Freeplay is similar to TS2 and TS3. they have the og kinda feeling to it, but definitely better gameplay for me at least. though there will be people, especially those who had never played ts2 or ts3 before, who don't really enjoy the og feeling
The Sims Mobile on the other hand is more on the modern apporach like TS4, also with a lighter, easy, simple gameplay, and better graphic for a wider market
How many people like freeplay better

• AABJJ • Lmaoo am I your first like cuz it looks like you liked your own comment. But I like your comment doe👌❤️😂
Sim freeplay better
Im more like sim freeplay because can offline
Me
This video helped a lot thanks I honestly have both and I like free play better but I’ll still play both!
Sims mobile has nice graphics but sims freeplay has better gameplay
I would honestly get addicted to sims freeplay if they didn't have so much real time wasted to complete just one task.
I prefer the pc version. Sure I have to pay for each expansion pack, BUT it gives me something to look forward too in the future. I can have kids, have pets, download cc, most of all NO WAIT TIMES! And their are no limits. Phones and consoles all are limited Sims games. While pc let's you do everything
xXBrittany20Xx were not talking bout pc
In the start they said you shouldn't compare An Apple and a Orange. Just leave the pc version alone okay?
I think the problem with the sims mobile is only one THE energy
But you don't really need the energy. You can just leave them and they will complete it themselves. You basically spend energy so you can help your sims finish faster. I'd rather have energy than wait my sim to talk to someone for 12 real time hours.
xFanc that you barely can get or you have to pay. I've played the Sims Freeplay for almost a year, I know they exist
xFanc lmao who said i can't afford them? 😂 i'm not gonna spend my money on stupid game currency because they make us wait 20 hours for an action.
alex papageorgioy are u from Greece
Aggelong yeah, why? Lmao
Finna start playing freeplay back again I remember having lots of families in the town and doing meetups and stuff
