you did a good informative video on this fuel pressure testing. there is a lot going on inside the tank of the injected bikes: fuel pump, pressure reg, fuel hose's { i've had em break on the road} & the sending unit for the fuel gauge. to be honest, i wish i had my carb back. my old FXLR lowrider didn't have half the maintance.
It comes because the pump is trying to stabilize pressure while the flow is so low and sporadic at idle. As fuel flow increases with engine speed, it would (should) stable out.
Yeah but I how do I put my own hose on it so that I don't have to pay $65 extra dollars for a foot of hose on the mc800? How come the internet searches only yield fuel pressure testing kits for automotive applications only? I don't see how they cross over so far because I had an extension auto fuel pressure testing kit and none of the pieces could be configured to test the fuel pressure of an EFI HD
