  • Watch our Introduction video on the book of 2 Peter, which outlines the book’s main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus.
2 Peter asks hard questions: "If God is just, why does so much evil go unpunished?" and "Isn't Hell just hateful religion?" Peter answers that while God's judgment is real and terrifying, that also means justice is real and that one day there will be no evil left in the world.

This is so wonderful. I am a leader for a local chapter of Community Bible Study. We are a hybrid class of online and in person. We are finishing up our year with 2 Peter. I would love to show this video to the ladies in our class. So I'm asking for permission to transmit this video over zoom to our online ladies. It will not be recorded and I will make sure the ladies know about Spoken Gospel so they can enjoy more of your videos and have a better understanding of scripture. Thanks for your consideration.

Thank you for inquiring! We actually did that video as an April Fools video but received a number of positive responses. Although it was fun making the video, we do not have plans for future episodes.

For 50 years in the church, I never had a Relationship with God. Jesus warned us that the church would do more damage than good. Satan comes as a wolf in sheep's clothing by twisting scripture and telling us that we were all saved. We were all Religious hypocrites trying to volunteer for a many things as possible, but we were all confessing through our testimonies that we still had willful sin in our lives, so obviously none of us has ever truly repented. Repentance actually means Turning From sin and Never going back to it again. I would have missed the rapture like a Foolish Virgin and hear God say: "I never knew you!" My name would not have been "blotted out of the book of life", because I was still never saved in the first place! In the parable of the sower 3 out of the 4 and never produced good fruit. All 40 Parables compare a true believer to a hypocritical false believer. It didn't matter that I said the sinner's prayer, got baptized, mentored, went to church 3 times a week, sang in the choir, prayed, fasted, cared for the widows, the homeless and those in prison, tithed, did mission trips overseas, visited Israel, street evangelized, discipled young believers, etc. No matter how much I DID, I would always feel distant from God at the end of the day. It should have been obvious that I was a lukewarm hypocrite, because I still willfully sinned everyday.
Then on Aug 10, 2017, I finally surrendered my entire life to God, and then and only then was Jesus willing to completely heal My Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit in just 1 Day. Now I finally know what it is to be "Born Again", because I love God with ALL my Heart, Mind, Soul & Strength, & my enemies more than myself. During my 50 years in the Church I never once read Through my Bible. I would do Bible studies and pull a bunch of verses ... out of context..which was intended to keep me dumb down by the church. Now I've read my Bible from cover to cover every single month for the last 64 months and counting. I love spending time with God more than anyone else. All worldly distractions and entertainment had to be gouged out and cut off, so I got rid of my TV and computer, etc.
Now Jesus is always in 1ST Place, Matt 6:24. I put nothing and noone before him; I was willing to loose family, friends, fellowship, finances, flesh, food, feelings; that were all distractions.
Jesus said "Go and sin no more". That never used to make any sense, and No Pastor could explain why but would sa it's impossible=Liars! Now I know that it's totally possible, and it's not longer even a challenge! Jesus said to take EVERY thought Captive and MAKE it Obedient to Christ. So every time that Satan shoots a dart, it only takes 3-5 seconds to ask myself: Will this honor God or my flesh? Once I understood that there are No gray areas, the choice was not always easy, but it was always Obvious! It's so amazing that for over 5 years walking as a Wise Virgin I have never experienced ANY: anger, bitterness, condemnation, depression, drugs, envy, fear, fornication, guilt, hopelessness, insecurity, jealousy, loneliness, materialism, pornography, rejection, shame, suicidal thoughts, unforgiveness, vanity, worry, etc. etc. etc. Everyday I experience all 9 fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control. I no longer have sinful thoughts hour to hour, or minute to minute like a Foolish Virgin does. A Wise Virgins must always stay on the Narrow Road; so I picture myself walking on a tightrope that crosses over the Grand Canyon. If I take my eyes off of Jesus even for a second by the distractions of this world, it will take me to my death.
He tells us to only think on Whatever (Whomever) is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, and all things that are excellent and praiseworthy. The way I make this happen is I Listen to my audio Bible everyday for about 10-12 hours; at home, in the car, working, grocery shopping, cleaning, exercising, etc.
I have to be this persistent, because I used to have a severe victim mentality. My mother had murdered my 5 month old twin sisters and then said she wanted to kill me, so I ran away from home. That same day I was kidnapped for sex trafficking, so from the age of 6 I had always struggled with having multiple personality disorders. I never experienced any lasting freedom from Doctors, Medications, Counselors, 12-Step programs, Accountability partners, Therapy, and The Church actually did far more damage than good. They Twisted the scriptures and said If you simply say the sinner's prayer, you are guaranteed Heaven. I never had any peace even though I would say that prayer Every week...it was just empty words, because I had never surrender my entire life over to God. Trying to depend on 10-15 feel-good verses every Sunday has never redeemed anyone from sin.
I learned that it only takes "1 Day" to LISTEN to The N.T. Bible! 1ST JOHN 3:9-10 completely scared the Hell Right Out of me. 9. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them, they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10. This is how we KNOW who the children of God are and who the children of the Devil are!!
I saw that all of my religious works were all filthy rags and if I had been successful in my suicide attempt I would have gone straight to Hell. It gave me an amazing Fear, Reverence, and Awe for The Lord :0) Being Obedient to God is not "works", it's love. A Bridegroom is looking to marry the Bride that obeys Him. Being obedient to our flesh is death. The same people who tell me that they've never read through their Bible in All the years they've been "saved", also tell me that they don't have even 1 Day to listen to the New Testament Bible. Their priorities are worldly. Now I ask people of they can spend just 30 minutes and read through then book of 1st John 2 times. Those 5 chapters are extremely eye-opening!! I pray that God would let The Truth set you free from sin, so you can be with Him forever!
I put together a list of 182 other N.T. verses that also warn us between a Sheep and a Goat. All of these lukewarm churches that Jesus warned us about in these last day are everywhere now. They give you 90% truth, and 10% that tickles your ears is what ruins the whole batch of dough. Satan's very first Lie is still working to this day: You surely won't die if you just take just a little bite!
We all need to Examine ourself to see IF we are truly in The Faith; because God will Judge every Thought, Word, Motives & Actions.
Last year I found a YT channel called BIBLE STUDY 101, and he makes everything 100% perfectly clear. He pulls absolutely NO punches so I pray we all have ears to hear the Truth, because What sin is worth our eternal soul?
