The Bible Explained: Esther

- Watch our Introduction video on the book of Esther, which outlines the book's main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus.
In the book of Esther, God is never mentioned, named, or prayed to. But despite this fact, God is always working to turn the plans of the enemy upside down. God's people are enslaved to the Persian Empire and under threat from its genocidal Prime Minister, Haman. Israel's best hope is in the relatively powerless Esther and Mordecai. But God uses these powerless people to turn back the plans of the powerful. Ultimately, Esther reveals to us the Savior who not only became powerless but died and turned even the power of the grave upside down.

In Esther, again God delivers those that belong to him through a woman. God bless the women who belong to Jesus through all the ages of time, unnoticed by the world but not forgotten by God.
im crying. Jesus never leaves. Again he shows me He isnt going to leave ever.. this is the only thing in the entire world that could help me right now, everyone is against me and i feel so lost. I can pray now to Our Savior to help me learn from Esther, help me to be like Esther now.🤍
If God is for you, who could be against you!!❤️
@@troyreid8661 thank you
@@troyreid8661 That was 1 of my Mom's favorite verses. I remind myself often esp during this unpleasant season in my life right now. Yes, God is for...us!
Shoshanna, ooh wee, I can totally relate. Yes, @Troy Reid is right. God is for you. Keep praying. Do what you can do in your situation and know that God will do what only He can do. Love, joy, peace, patience...are fruit of the spirit but I also believe they r weapons against the ones or one (killer, thief, destroyer) trying to destroy you. They are gifts but also choices. Sometimes they seem impossible...we know what comes next 😊. God bless you and I pray that you'll see a breakthrough soon.🙏🏾
🙏🙏🙏

This is mind blowing. The connections you guys are making I NEVER thought of.🤯🤯
When everything is lost and God can't be found He is working to turn the plans of the enemy upside down. GLORY TO JESUS!!
I’m reading Esther right now. This really helped!
It’s really interesting that some of the biggest events in the book took place at banquets. Banquet 1 (Esther 1): Vashti was removed as queen; Banquet 2 (Esther 2): Esther is made queen; Banquet 3 (Esther 5): Esther does the first manipulation, and then invites Xerxes I and Haman to a banquet the next day; Banquet 4 (Esther 7): Esther tells Xerxes I that Haman’s edict was meant to kill all of her people.
Love this perspective of Esther. It’s always romanticized, but this is so good! No fluff, just truth ❤️
This video explaining Esther is so epic, and well executed, that after watching it on the Bible app, I had to come to UA-cam just so I can give it an up vote. Well done! 😮
Wow! Brother Pastor David and our Sisters and Brothers of The Spoken Gospel Dream Team once again (to use an American idiom) you knocked the ball out of the ballpark! Everything is perfect. But perhaps I should not be thanking you, but rather The RUACHHAKODESH/HOLYSPIRIT WHO presented this to you!
Glory be to You O LORD! GLORY be to YOU!

Amen, great video. I loved it
This was a twist on Esther I never considered!
BEAUTIFUL! ❤
Dear brothers, thanks for your nice presentation. Can you explain why Esther, in chapter 4, was justifiably hesitant to take Mordecai's second message (about Haman vs. the Jews) to Ahasuerus, but did not hesitate at all in chapter 2, regarding taking Mordecai's first message (about Bigthan and Teresh) to Ahasuerus? Since the laws of Persia were not easily changed (8:8), it would seem that either of these interruptions to Ahasuerus' schedule could have resulted in her being executed. (I think I can explain this, but I'd like to know your thoughts.)
I love it! 🌻
The Story SO True. I LOVE THE BOOK OF ESTHER!! PLUS THE COLOR OF THE PEOPLE ARE TRUE!🙏 LOVE THE TRUTH......AMEN🙏😇

Study of ESTHER
Maybe try go exactly according to scripture instead of teachings of man.
You make up your own story. Not Biblical or true. We have been going through the Bible with you from Genesis and find it to be very informative and good to get another perspective. Here and there you and the people presenting make assumptions that is just not Biblical. Please just check on that. Esther is way off. The first time this happens though. Thank you for a great series.
Serioulsy? Esther and Mordechai are black and the king and Haman are white?
Not accurate description she was not kidnapped. He uncle mardocai let her go to palace..
"let her go". Did she have a choice? kidnapped, forced... however you word it, she was taken against her will to a place she didn't want to go.
I really don't care for this version of Esther. It stretches quite a bit, its unnecessary. Sounds more like an ABC primetime drama rather than the word of God...
The video is stupid even as the story is amazing.
Yes I'm virgin mary and Queen of Egyptian
Lmao 🤡
I'm mother Esther
Yes I'm god wife...WWE UNDERTAKER IS GOD
