The Legend, Larry King - Interviews & Real Political Thoughts

  • Larry King is nothing short of THE name in talk shows- he rose from hunble radio beginnings to the most preeminent interview and news shows in the world. But how did he get there? How did he transition from humble and scared radio host to CNN and OraTV's biggest host? Now that he's departed CNN, what can he say is his real political point of view? What happened in his infamous Jerry Seinfeld interview? What is the first question he would ask Osama bin Laden?
Larry King sits down with Cenk Uygur to discuss all this, plus the choices that shaped his career, which is still running strong.

The story Mr. King told about how he got into the business is just great, a real throwback to era when one really could advance through hard work and passion, I have a feeling that these relatively early days of public internet and Cenk may very well be remembered in future at the very same light.

TYT Always have the best Interviews!!!!! Truly!!!! I have never been a big Larry King fan and have not watched much of his shows or anything.. The only time I ever watched anything of his were when I wld randomly catch his show and there was a interesting guest on or if he was interviewing someone I follow, But after watching this I am gonna look up more of his interview because after he explained is interview style to Cenk I really liked it! I love how he looks at his guest and how he thinks of his questions. Esp loved the Bin Laden comment on how he would interview him! As always Cenk got me to change my opinion on someone. I just always thought of Larry King/show as a personality/ interviewer for the older audience lol! (My grandfather loved him and watched everything he did and my remaining grandparents still do! Lol none of the generations after my Grandparents watch him,) So as always TYT helped me gain respect and curosity for someone I didn't much know or care for. LOVE TYT!!! There are forever expanding my knowledge, acceptance, views and curiosity!! Esp since I met them(Yes The Entire TYT cast!) Tuesday 3/25/14 at the Mad as Hell Screening and they were even more amazing and awesome in person as I expected!!!!!

They're about as different as day and night, Cenk can't help but being passionate/emotional about his work, I'm not sure there's something he can learn from LK's way of doing his job, his style as he put it.

King says, "I never thought that my opinion counted... the way I approached interviewing was I left my ego at the door... I'm there to learn..." By 13:49 Cenk Uygur makes it about himself and his own story. I like Cenk for the most part, but did he even listen to what Larry was saying at the beginning of the interview? Larry is the GOAT of interviewing. Pay closer attention Cenk.

Ditto, word for word my thoughts. This was a wonderful interview, truly great. God.. He's like the of the guests that if I were interviewing, I wouldn't want it to end! My true overwhelming curiosity (not just about this subject/man, but most social dynamics, emotions, motivations, reactions, etc.. Just everything.) I even wish right now for this one not to end!
I like the questions he asks. I'm a little but not very surprised that he never pondered/planned or wrote questions, maybe not surprised but I found that very interesting & cool.- I find that even.. admirable. He's so genuine
