Had two 6th gen celicas, a 97 automatic cherry red GT & a 93 5speed ST, would give anything to have those two cars back, seeing more celicas pop up makes me so happy I love these cars sm
Great buy bro, got mine nearly a year ago and had the same struggle finding any information about it. The gen 6's are a gem, it'll be totally worth it when you got it how you want it 💪
@@thomasmasih Swing by if you do man! Ol braaps is currently undergoing some breast implants via widebody front guards so we can fit some schmeat up the front and go run down the drags and see what we can set the Aus 204 record at, should be a good time!
Nice car mate , I had one hit a diesel spill 360 spin, car was a right off , I now have the big brother a 1994 st205 GT four , I love it. They are great cars. ps like the rims.
hey bro, so the car is a 5sfe engine (slandered in Australia) and i wouldn't recommend putting a turbo in it, you can but wont be able to put in much psi, if you want to go the extra mile you should look out for a 3sgte engine swap that's the sportier engine from the gt4 Celica that has a factory turbo
good luck with turboing this car dude, just make sure to check how much power the rest of the drivetrain can handle, cuz not every transmission and differential is made for boost
Love it ❤ i have 1993 toyota Celica in good condition...engine give it a 10 ...never left me stranded and wondering if i should spend my hard earned money on this beauty that looks like an old hag, need your expertise.....👍
If you really love the car, do it. If you don’t like it that much but just have it because it’s an “OG” JDM car, it’s not worth spending your money on it. There isn’t a lot of appreciation on the celica, but trust me they go hard. It’s up to you at the end of the day. If you want too, do it. If you don’t, sell it and get a car that you love.
@@thomasmasih yeah honestly might just have to set the colour aside and find a cleaner silver or black one, just hate having cars that have major clear coat issues, yours is mad clean btw 😭

How much does the engine swap cost?
From what I have researched. If you have a 5sfe probably don't turboing it
6th gen celica is my dream car but they are so hard to find. i have yet to find one that is in ok condition.
Yeah hella hard
It says "Hard Tune Race."

What this car lacks in sheer style and good looks, it makes up for in reliability!
good for you, yes auto is terrible. much more enjoyable with a manual.
Is by any chance your name “Scott”?
Na bro…
Loose the ''ha-do chu-un re-su'' banner. Trust me.
