Basic or not, new videos are always welcome! Oh, and the only good Lenovo laptops are ThinkPads. The build quality on the IdeaPads and Yogas is terrible. :)

I have a question Toshiba RTC battery showing message is low. How to fix ''Dodge'' way. I didn't see any RTC battery only bios. I know that need to replace but probably there is Sorin way.
I encapsulate the rear of the power socket on some machines with hot glue to give strength and keep it in place, otherwise the wires brake again.
Cheap machines are horrible :-(

Hello I have a Lenovo G50-70 and won't work I changed the DC cabel but the problem is coming from the small input component JDCIN1 on the MotherBoard ! Can you please tell me the name of this component and where can I buy it to replace it ?

Be thankful that your port is on a cable (easily fixable) and not directly soldered to the PCB.

Why would the led blink if the power cable is damaged?
It's trying to start the laptop from the battery and its LED indicates that the battery is depleted and needs to be recharged. 😉
I have the same issue but unlucky cables were ok so I am at dead end :(
I have an issue that my battery indicator showing 0% power and charging.. the led is blinking all the time.. fortunately the laptop power is on with the cable charger plugged... anyone has same issue like me?

It was blinking because the battery was dead, nothing to do with the power rail...

Lenovo laptops (much like many other brands) these days are made to fail with cheap components and poor design not like the old IBM thinkpads of the 1990's
i have this lenovo laptop. i agree it is a terrible design. i dropped my laptop which caused RHS laptop hinge to come loose. never buying one of these laptops ever again
hate lenovo just because of their design. Can't believe they put on my Lenovo NVME SSD RYZEN 5 with such a poor case !!!

Its really painful/uncomfortable to watch this video. Poor little lenovo.
1. Allways unplug adapter when disassemblying.
2. never open screen without the buttom screws (makes further damages to the case)
3. never randomly short with tweezers without checking schematic or buzzing out the right contacts to short
