  • A questions and answers session with Stephen Nichols, Burk Parsons, Harry Reeder, and Michael Reeves.
    Introduction (0:00)
    Questions:
As believers are in Christ, does that relationship end or change when we are in glory? What about the Holy Spirit? (0:16)
Does God ever approve of dishonesty? Was Rahab’s dishonesty approved by God? (4:53)
I work for a large company that is liberal and increasingly liberal in its diversity and inclusion initiatives, I wonder, on a practical level, if I should stay and be a light, or should I dust off my sandals? (13:33)
How should a Christian in public medical education navigate these times, where even the God designed, anatomical differences between male and female are being redefined because of mandated diversity and inclusion training? (17:43)
Will we remember our sins in heaven? If not, how will be able to give an account for the judgement of the bad things we did? See Ecclesiastes 12:14. (24:39)
How can we use creeds and confessions in a godly way, one that is safe and not destructive? (27:21)
Why does it feel like I’m warring against myself deciding if I’m saved or not? (40:21)
This session is from Upholding Christian Ethics, our 2022 National Conference: • Upholding Christian Et...

Question . If there is life on thousands of other planets like scientist say is possible , will Jesus have been nailed to the cross on those planets also ? What does the Bible say about life on other planets ?

The Bible says nothing about life on other planets as far as I am aware. Yes, other planets were created for His glory, but only earth was fashioned to be lived on and for God's saving plan in His Son, Jesus Christ, to be carried out - Isaiah 45:18 For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited!): I am the LORD, and there is no other. I have always camped out on the fact in John 14 when Jesus said, "If it were NOT so, I would have told you" talking about the mansions. If Jesus needed us to know anything else about His creation He would have told us.

"Nobody is born into this world a child of the family of God. We were born as children of wrath. The only way into the family of God is by adoption, and that adoption occurs when we are united with Christ. We enter by adoption and that adoption occurs when we are united to God’s only begotten Son by faith. When by faith we are united with Christ, we are then adopted into that family of whom Christ is the firstborn. Regeneration therefore involves a new genesis, a new beginning, a new birth. It is that birth by which we enter (will be received) into the family of God by adoption" - R.C. Sproul
'Therefore, “Get away from them and separate yourselves from them,” declares the Lord, “and do not touch anything unclean. Then I will welcome (receive) you. I will be (future) your Father, and you will be My sons and daughters,” declares the Lord Almighty.' 2Cor. 6:17-18; Ezek.11:19-20.
"Adoption is an act (prerogative) of God (the Father) whereby the believing sinner is received into the family of God, with all the rights and privileges of His children in which he becomes an heir of God with a right and title to eternal life."
Adoption cannot take place before true repentance. Justification can only follow true repentance. True unfeigned faith leads to sanctification, sanctification leads to adoption.
A cloud of witnesses: Thomas Watson (1620-1686). “The main evidence of adoption is sanctification. Search, O Christian, whether the work of sanctification has passed upon your soul!”
The seal of the Holy Spirit, that is, our future inheritance called, "the promised redemption of purchased possession" (Eph.1:13-14), in resurrection that Paul spoke of is the same in Romans 8:23, refers to the promise of adoption. 'For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together (with us) and waiting. . However, not only {the whole} creation groans, we who have the Spirit (seal) as the first fruits of God's, also groan inwardly. We groan as we eagerly wait for our adoption (sonship), the freeing of our bodies (from SIN) Romans 8:23-25.
"Countless hosts, all who were once children of earth and of some other planets, and who like ourselves once shared in the TOILS and SWEAT of earthly life, and with us struggled against the fearful hosts of SIN, but now exalted and glorified with our blessed Redeemer. God is Love, we were nothing, we did nothing. He is our All in All."

Its cute playing semantic games like that but no, its lying to deliberately say the opposite of truth. Its a sin, but sometimes in this fallen world we are faced with no good choices.

Is this comedy hour or what? Disappointing. Also, believers will not remember their sins in Heaven, nor will they stand for judgment. Christ stood for judgment in their place.
