The Decepticon Justice Division despite not being kid friendly they need to appear on media more and Tarn getting an official toy and being in Cyberverse is a start
It’s just changing Kaon and Vos’s vehicle modes for a more family friendly series is no problem but if they made a more adult focused series or teen audience maybe we can get away with the DJD’s true intentions
I think Star Scream deserves an honorable mention for his mutant indestructible spark which keeps him crawling back no matter how many times Megatron kills him.
There was one instance where that indestructible spark drove him insane and he damn near killed both the Autobots and the Decepticons. And let's not forget how powerful he was when he stole the power of Primus for himself.
Yeah his peaks in some continuities are crazy and above most of the guys here. Starscream in most continuities ends on Megatron's threat level or higher
im surprised shockwave wasnt on the list, considering his near-successful plan to collapse every universe into one to fuel cybertron for eternity by deleting the very concepts of past and future, plus him going back in time and disguising as onyx prime and pretty much causing everything thats ever went wrong in the IDW continuity
The DJD really scared me when I read about them all those years ago. They take brutality to another level. Drift even asked Ratchet to kill him in case they caught him for desertion.
Dude, the DJD are the most terrifying Decepticons. The fact Tarn has been in a kid series would sound absurd. Fortunately, they greatly altered his character so he’s not a murderous psychopath. So for me my top 5 most scary Decepticons; Tarn #1 The entire DJD #2 Thunderwing #3 Overlord #4 SixShot #5

Scorponoks plan in IDW to have an organic with a spark in them was basically taking the advantage of biological life (reproduction) and giving that to cybertronian lifeforms in order to create an army that wouldn't end up screwed over by Mitosis the original method, what he discovered in his research is that it could potentially replicate the spark with some minor divergences (cause life is chaotic) which he could then later harvest from them to place into a mechanical body. The main reason as well why this was done is because the All Spark was gone and thus no new cybertronians could be born with their sparks and thus they would eventually become extinct, sadly the IDW ended and thus we never go to see what happened to that child he created or if his original idea could've been expanded upon by someone else (as he died) to create a true reproduction method for them and save their species.
It's a unique idea that I wish they could have done more with. Since IDW has taken the mystical elements out of the lore, we're left to wonder if the plan worked would they be "true" Cybertonians. Would it also be possible to take the mind out of a regular organic and turn it into a spark.
Im surprised IDW Bludgeon wasn’t on here. He’s one of the most evil cons in there. Like, horrific experiments on newborns and mind controlling Trypticon for a terrorist attack kind of evil.
I can't help but feel that Predaking beating the scrap out of Volcanicus was at least partly intended as a bit of catharsis for fans who recall THAT comic where Predaking was one hit killed by that OTHER Dinobot combiner we don't talk about.
Yeah they downplayed the crap out of the Dinobots in that trilogy. Grimlock didn't fight Overlord even once in his bot mode. The Predaking fight was a joke as well.
I'd love to point out the Japanese G1 version of Overlord. He was a Godmaster, a lifeless transtector controlled by humans to create the ultimate lifeform using Chokon Power. His partners were Giga & Mega, a husband and wife who died and was resurrected by the "Decepticon God" Devil Z. He is the only Godmaster with 2 humans and, when he was brought back for Titans Return, the Japanese Legends Manga gave Giga & Mega each their own Overlord Bodies that could even combine into Overlord Tera.
As a very, VERY casual Transformers fan (only having seen the bay films, and Transformers Animated) I’m loving your videos! They’re a detailed dive into the lore without making me feel like I’m being left behind. Keep up the awesome work! (Oh, and I’ve read Transformers vs The Terminator)
It's funny because there are a lot of powerful transformers yet Megatron himself sits high on any list due to his insane feats. Put in perspective he competently fought against, and defeated Optimus prime, the guy who was rebuilt to hold the matrix of leadership and while using it was enhanced further. It doesn't seem like much on paper but in reality is insane. Even more crazy is the fact that in prime and cybertron games continuity he survived and maintained his mind while using dark energon, something explicitly stated to be the antithesis to energon which should have ended him flat out. In transformers the movie he was badly injured yet still he could damage the surface of Unicron, something even grimlock who was quite physically powerful needed plenty of effort to do. Furthermore Megatron had the respect of Unicron, something no other transformer gained to my knowledge. Thing is if he hadn't lost some of his mind during his transition into galvatron then he would've been essentially unstoppable
Megatronus actually isn't all that evil depending on the continuity, for example in the aligned continuity he was tricked into fighting with Solus prime by Liege Maximo and accidentally fired the Requiem Blaster. His exile afterwards was entirely self-imposed. What I want to know, is why they didn't put a safety on the most powerful gun in the Transformers universe.
Prime megatron is also war of cybertron/ fall of cybertron. So he did a lot of mess up stuff in the games too. Hasbro also cut out the whole multi-dimensional beings because it created a huge mess for the timeline. So each new series is its own timeline unless its a sequal to another series like the war of cybertron games/ prime/ rid (2015) timeline
Probably a good call to cut the multi-dimensional thing. Especially since that would mean these radically different characters aren't just each universe's instance, or even like a DC god being a partial manifestation of their central God Head that rests outside and above the multiverse (which is not without its own problems), but the exact same being in full manifestation. "It just raises too many questions."
For the whole putting a spark in an organic body thing, his plan was to use humans to grew new sparks which he could than implant into cybertronian bodies. In that comic the transformers could not make more due to the spark fields being dead.
Great content as usual 👍 Small correction about the Fallen and the other original Primes: they are not multiversal singularities, or at least not any more... They are still on a league of their own, so valid point in general 😉
Tarn, one of the most interesting characters from James Roberts run. When Overlord came into it, just a little bit of needling cause Tarn to drop the act and murder his own DJD, against his "principles". It perfectly how he's nothing more than a thug with pretentions of refinement, as Overlord rightly called him out on.
We can’t forget that in Fall of Cybertron, Megatron forces Trypticon to transform into the Nemesis (the Decepticons ship in TF Prime), a process that was irreversible.
MrNormal: Predaking is able to focus more than any other combiner because of his thrill of the hunt. No other combiner can do that MrNormal 10 seconds later: Why did Volcanicus lose to him?!?
Your content is just brilliant✨️ the information and humorous delivery are A#1. I thought Sixshot, Shockwave, and maybe Bludgeon could've got an honorable mention. Keep up the great work 👍
So I normally don't do this, but this video was so good, I felt it was worth it. One correction, the 13 original primes are no longer singularities, hasbro had idw( can't remember the name of the story line) write that out, as them being singularities was causing a lot of plot hole issues
I feel it should be noted that the Primes, like Primus and Unicron *used to be* multiversal singularities. Through some cosmic nonsense multiversal entities were removed and now it's back to having multiple versions of each character. This was done by Hasbro to stop confusion from the multiple versions of each character who are supposedly all the same versions.

Actually, Aligned Continuity's Megatronus was one of the kindest of the Primes, if not The kindest. Other Primes were entitled a-holes, especially the first ones, like Prima. He was very emotional, and his rampage was a only the result of the other Primes' questionable actions and his own emotions, getting tricked by one of the Primes (Liege Maximo, if I'm not mistaken, who was basically Loki of Transformers).
Hey this is my first time seeing your channel and I loved the video good work! I have always been a lover of transformers yet oddly never got recommended channels for it, glad to see that change.
You also forget Predaking getting styled on by Skylynx at every turn, then equal footing with Raiden in Headmasters, then killed while trying to run away in Zone (lol). Victory's Deathsaurus just wants to blow up Earth because he's sick of how often the Decepticons keep losing. Only to end up failing because of Star Saber's son (lol). In the mango, he just wants to power up his space base to help his fellow starward Decepticons including his wife.
3:50 it wasn't one of my favorite things to happen in the comics, but there was at least a good explanation. At the time, there weren't new sparks being created, and if they could replicate sparks, they'd have an easier time repopulating since y'know, easier to create the bodies. Organics reproduce through copulation, and so theorically, if they could create a breeding farm of organics with sparks, then they could cull some of the organics while still leaving enough to continue to breed, and use those sparks in new Cybertronian bodies.
Well, what miserable foes of Decepticon Supremacy call brutality ,I call a productive and presumptuously efficient method of performance review and coordination amongst the troops. For the Decepticon Empire can only thrive through a its administrative prowess. Isn't that right Blackshadow ? Please allow me play some music to keep our minds of the gory details.
I Disagree that Megatronus/The Fallen was truly the most evil. In the Prime continuity, it was one of the others , Liege Maximo, that put him in the position to manipulate Solus, but also may have pushed him to kill her. Without Solus, the rest went absolutely batshit, and they killed Maximo, and wounded another two of their own. So really, Liege Maximo (aka Transformers Loki, because he totally looks like it in the art from the book 'The Covenant of Primus') could be considered the true evil there.
I did like how they redesigned Liege Maximo from a hulking, vaguely insectoid titan in G2 into a full-on Loki reference in IDW. My personal headcanon is that as the "master of deception," Liege Maximo was the original creator of Pretender technology, and the G2 version of Liege Maximo is actually a pretender shell for the IDW version.
Ok it feels like you intentionally didn't state why Scorpinok created the organic Decepticon baby. It was because he was trying to grow new Cybertronian sparks in organic children that could be implanted into machine bodies to create more Decepticons much more quickly. His reasoning being that humans could reproduce far more quickly than transformers. Basically saying, make organic babies with sparks, make cold forged Cybertronian bodies, and put them together to build a new army.
I have never had a single thought of comparing The Fallen's looks to a Bionicle 'don't remember that guys name it has been a long time' but thanks for putting that image in my head
If we're talking the most powerfull, then Overlord, along with Sixshot and Black Shadow should be right around the top of the list, for each of Phase Sixers was created to be able to bring exterminatus to a planet single-handedly.
Forgot to mention how megaton in war for cybertron on Netflix drained the sparks of decepticon and autobots as well as those not involved with the factions, just to power his ship to get off world. Was just messed up
I think that you forgot Shockwave. He is probably one of the strongest decepticons to ever live. In Transformers Prime, he was bassicaly Megatron, but with the lack of battle iq, defence and skill. The regenesis version however, is probably one of (if not) the strongest versions of Shockwave
At 4:22, that's actually Onyx Prime in the back. It's understandable to confuse him with Deathsaurus though, they look _really_ similar to each other with the beak forehead, four eyes, and blue/yellow color scheme.
Outside of G1 as a kid, I haven't kept up with Transformers aside from snippets of some later shows like Beast Wars, but, wouldn't Sunstorm be a good addition to this list? He had a built-in fusion reactor and just being in his presence caused negative effects.
Its jihaxus and Liege Maximo, In G2 Liege created the decepticons and cared so little about cybertron that he sent Jihaxus and the Cyber empire to conquer it.
Predaking is still my favorite bot from Prime. This was before I learned more about him of course. But I like how Prime made him a sorta anti-villain, and then anti-hero. Yeah, he was never really one of the good guys. But calling him a true villain isn't right either. Somewhere in the middle, I guess.
How was Shockwave not on this list? He went back in time, made himself a PRIME so Cybertronians thought he was a god, recreated Cybertron in his own image, AND he was main enemy of the Autobots in their debut comics.
Damn you didn't even count the Unicron Trilogy Megatron. Sure it's a lot to go through and his plans don't usually work. But by the time of Cybertron, it's like "Damn, I wanna punch him" and he'll just continue to mock you
4:00 I mean, he explains his plan in the comic. organic beings can reproduce naturally, unlike cybertronians, so he would use the spark-bearking organics to breed a whole bunch more sparks, and implant them into new bodies
17:29 “The truth is we are just simple villagers trying to survive, not like the bone hunters, cutthroats who steal what little we have left… when they aren’t fighting with the SCRALL!”
I need to see Tarn in cinema... PS: Predaking in TFP is not the Predaking you was talking about, fully differents characters that share the same name !
But what about brainstorm? He might be disqualified cause he became an autobot but he was able to time travel. And starscream for some reason is way to difficult to kill. Became a ghost and survived a whole bunch of random things.
Could the movie prime even really be considered evil. Even when Optimus was a good guy he was exercising max brutality including executing a defenseless bot
In warhammer there is more guardsman then there are planets and stars. By applying that logic for organic decepticon humans can see he was planing on long-term survival for his race as a whole as yes a mechanical body is better then organic, but given you can't make more of yourselves to replenish numbers it makes sense to have.
Personally i think they should buff a few cons like Motormaster. I liked how in gen 1 he was kinda a threat to Optimus (the playing chicken scene). Guys like him, Cyclonus, Blitzwing, maybe Onslaught, have them be tough in their own rights, ya know?

If we're talking the most powerfull, then Overlord, along with Sixshot and Black Shadow should be right around the top of the list, for each of Phase Sixers was created to be able to bring exterminatus to a planet single-handedly.
Holy shit this is a charming channel. Instant subscription 💙
kind words indeed. welcome.
As terrifying as the DJD is, Getaway has them beat in terms of pure villainy imo, and smarminess
you got anything planned for the Hellboy series ?
cuz i'd love to watch the hell out of it
😈🔥
Actually yes, but its quite a way down the list, maybe later in the year
@@MrNormalPerson I'll be waiting for sure 👀
You thank me for watching your stuff? I thank you for breaking down multiple continuities like this.
2:40 and another time,Scorponok was pregnant 🥺🥺🥺
I’m surprised that Shockwave and Sixshot weren’t on the list
Forgot to mention how megaton in war for cybertron on Netflix drained the sparks of decepticon and autobots as well as those not involved with the factions, just to power his ship to get off world. Was just messed up
True
‘Milllions of lives and thousands of years’ one of the greatest understatements of all time 😂
I think the reason he put a spark in a organic is probably due to organics possessing advantages that inorganics don't have due to limitations
there is a propper reason, but I wanted to keep it for a later vid :)
I think that you forgot Shockwave. He is probably one of the strongest decepticons to ever live. In Transformers Prime, he was bassicaly Megatron, but with the lack of battle iq, defence and skill. The regenesis version however, is probably one of (if not) the strongest versions of Shockwave
A few people saying this, I'll give him his own video
@@MrNormalPerson Makes sence
At 4:22, that's actually Onyx Prime in the back. It's understandable to confuse him with Deathsaurus though, they look _really_ similar to each other with the beak forehead, four eyes, and blue/yellow color scheme.
Yeah I noticed that the other day too...
8:25 It's even crazier in the first draft of the page, which didn't make it in the edits. He *kissed* that brain while it was in the guy's mouth
IDW in general really took advantage of the fact the characters are robotic to really go with the body horror.
Is it just me or does the brain look like a mini version of Cybertron?
Ok, the strongest in my opinion, Starscream. That fucker is literally IMMORTAL.
Outside of G1 as a kid, I haven't kept up with Transformers aside from snippets of some later shows like Beast Wars, but, wouldn't Sunstorm be a good addition to this list? He had a built-in fusion reactor and just being in his presence caused negative effects.
Aha, good one. I was keeping him for a vid I'm doing on tf twins...
POV listening to soap opera wile ripping the face off of a transformer who just wants to go back to his family
hyped for the Arcee video, dude
Ok thank you UA-cam for bringing me to you ! Love the presentation and puns …..subbing before finishing the vid
welcome to the channel!
@@MrNormalPerson thanks 🙏 ( autistic screeching)
Yeah I shoulda mentioned I the vid that I'm doing a spotlight vid on him asking if he's the most evil decepticon ever
@@MrNormalPerson doooope
Honestly, if it wasnt for our love for a niche youd be a multi milli channel, youre honest a diamond in the rough!!!
kind words, many thank yous
Damn you didn't even count the Unicron Trilogy Megatron. Sure it's a lot to go through and his plans don't usually work. But by the time of Cybertron, it's like "Damn, I wanna punch him" and he'll just continue to mock you
Looking back my favorite character in transformers prime has to be predaking he was so bad ass
Subscribed. First time seeing your videos, far from the last time though.
Welcome to the channel
You should read up on Dawn of the Predacus on TFwiki Predaking was mentioned in that and it's some good lore.
8:32 putting brains in victim's mouths is Helex's signature move, not Tarn's
4:00 I mean, he explains his plan in the comic. organic beings can reproduce naturally, unlike cybertronians, so he would use the spark-bearking organics to breed a whole bunch more sparks, and implant them into new bodies
Im gonna wait for the most disrespectful, Coldest Decepticon. Shockwave.
Deathsaurus. Now that's a name
I love how you play a clip of scorpinok being schewpid and then say he’s really smart.
17:29
“The truth is we are just simple villagers trying to survive, not like the bone hunters, cutthroats who steal what little we have left… when they aren’t fighting with the SCRALL!”
Its been a while but i don’t remember Tarn killing Overlord. And that OL just lost interest and left and got in more craziness with the wreckers
Galvatron: you dare disturb my plasma bath?!!
Not gonna lie, Shockwave should've been on the list. Great vid man!
I agree with some of the other comments that Shockwave should've been also added to list.
technically if you think about it, the Prime series the Unicron possessed Megatron is that universes Galvatron
1:09 A Challenger approaches
I need to see Tarn in cinema...
PS: Predaking in TFP is not the Predaking you was talking about, fully differents characters that share the same name !
Very in depth ideas.
But what about brainstorm? He might be disqualified cause he became an autobot but he was able to time travel.
And starscream for some reason is way to difficult to kill. Became a ghost and survived a whole bunch of random things.
10:06-10:15 i actually lol'd l. Bro im siiick 😂
Could the movie prime even really be considered evil. Even when Optimus was a good guy he was exercising max brutality including executing a defenseless bot
In warhammer there is more guardsman then there are planets and stars. By applying that logic for organic decepticon humans can see he was planing on long-term survival for his race as a whole as yes a mechanical body is better then organic, but given you can't make more of yourselves to replenish numbers it makes sense to have.
can’t believe sky shadow wasn’t on here, man was depicted getting the best of prime, Magnus, and a 3,000 man auto boy army at the same time
you sir are awesome just subed
Personally i think they should buff a few cons like Motormaster. I liked how in gen 1 he was kinda a threat to Optimus (the playing chicken scene). Guys like him, Cyclonus, Blitzwing, maybe Onslaught, have them be tough in their own rights, ya know?
