    10 pm, dark out, favourite cigar channel on, and enjoying an Opus X Angels Share. Life is not bad right now.
    Keep up the awesome work

      How is the angel share? I have yet to give that a try. I've been searching the B&M's for some and can't seem to find them.

      @@MrChrisromero3 I really liked it. It was my first Opus.
      Im not sure how I would describe it taste wise (im not very good at picking out flavour notes), but it was very smooth and had a lot of character. Definetly a nice black peppar note at the start to get your attention but it quickly faded away. What remained through out the cigar was the Superb tobacco quality and I never got bored of it.
      Highly recommend 👍hope you can get your hands on some 🙌

    Gents, when trying to figure out what you are tasting, while you are smelling ( nosing) the spirit, may i recommend that instead of putting your nose deep into the glass, and breathing in the nose. try holding the glass below your nose, and breathing in from your mouth. you will coax out the subtle flavours of the spirit!

      @CL-qr7eb 12 днів тому +3

      Nice! I was going to say the same thing. The only thing I would add is, when you breathe, pull through your nose and into your mouth. But keep your mouth open. You'll look stupid AF, but the notes you'll pull are amazing!

    When I go Padron , I am a 1926 and Family Reserve smoker but still enjoy seeing my boys rate any and all cigars .
    I have a box of La Aroma De Cuba Noblesse in the humidor because of Fauch's recommendation. Gonna let them age a year or so . Thanks Guys !!

      I'll say Padron 10th Maduro was the first time I got chocolate notes and wasn't much spice at all. Their 20th Maduro has what I call Dr pepper spice and a lot of it imo.

    The tobacco taste your getting is probably from the closed space your sitting in.. to be able to swallow you need oxygen at the same time so yeah it’s the air in the room where your getting that tobacco taste in the alcohol

    Not a fan of Damaso. To much spice for a CT. Reminds me of the AJ New World CT. Sorry, not a fan of either. Try Ocho Anejo or Resp.

    I'm a lover of Padron, but the Damasco is one of the least favorite cigars of all time. Just giving my experience though!

    • @holtscigars
      @holtscigars  11 днів тому

      Interesting. Taste is personal, but it is also a very different blend from the typical Padron's you're used to.
      If you're looking for the taste of a 1964 or 1926, just smoke those blends.
      But, for people who like complex shade wrapped cigars, we'd say this is a must try. You defiantly can't go into this expecting it to taste like the Padron blends you're used to.

      How many different wines are described as oaky, fruity, floral, etc?
