In this video men's style, grooming and fitness expert, aaron marino of www.iamalpham.com, goes over 20 simple men's style tips. These twenty style tips are simple and easy to apply to make sure you are looking great and always putting your best and most stylish foot forward!
People are always asking Alpha about how he has come up with 1,600 videos! Content is not his issue as he has a list of 400+ topics that he wants to cover. Time is the issue, not content!
When Aaron Marino of alpha m. gets an idea, he jots them into a notebook. Some of the ideas are small-- too small for a full video. But now Alpha wants to share some of those small ideas with you.
Here are twenty of those solid simple style tips
Never wear a tie and pocket square together that came as a set
Always go with a 2-button suit to always be in style
Bow ties are conversation starters
Match your tie width with your lapel width to coordinate and balance
All khaki pants are created equal
Match your tie not to your collar size
Big baggy pants make you look short
Big bulky shoes make you look like a dope
Your dress belt and dress shoes should match in leather color and finish
Avoid shirts with big bold logos
Jeans with bling on pockets are not stylish
Power players don't wear zany socks
When suit shopping, size down for a better silhouette and fitting jacket
Remove the vent stitch
One ring per hand
Don't wear dress shirts untucked as they are too long
Fitted doesn't mean tight
Never try to match a black sport coat to black pants
Remove sunglasses when entering a building
Funny ties aren't funny

And Alex, please shut the fuck up because you don't know what you're talking about. I already told you that I don't press at the chest. Only morons bench that way. Smart bench pressers tuck their elbows down towards the upper ab/stomach region. If I drop the weight I lose the arch and the bar lands on the pins. There's not a possibility that it can land on my chest.

For the longest time I absolutely never cared what I wear as long as the clothes and I are clean.
I usually wear blue-collar like uniforms.
Now I'm considering getting a little into certain suits.
Do it. You'll never regret it! Girls will just assume you know more than you know, thus giving you more room for flirting. Guys will ask you more questions because they assume you know the answer. People in general will treat you better. It's sad, but kind of cool. Most of all, YOUR confidence and demeanor will benefit. Pop that collar, Pimpin'. NOTE; DON'T REALLY POP IT.

I used to buy designer stuff I used to copy others.. nowadays I dress for myself my structure my fit.. I was always okay with jeans etc BUT now I dress more Classy.. thanks Alpha don't have to break the bank BUT buy what you can wear with pride.. dress well gives you confidence and that's what you need sometimes to get that extra edge in Life..
Because of this video I am subscribing to your channel- good job and you should do more of these sort of vids, these will prove more useful for a man like myself.

***** Thats BS, they can be way more stylish than normal ties.
You need the right look and you need the right attitude to wear a bow tie. If you lack either, it just can't be done. Some of us are just lucky that way. So if you see a guy (like me) wearing a bow tie and killing it, don't feel bad. There are other looks that just can't be pulled off and couldn't be done, no matter how hard one tried; not everyone can do every look. :)
The most important tip for me, happened at the start of the video. I have been thinking about content creation and management a lot recently...:D

Bow Ties ARE cool...and Arron is right...they draw a crowd at any gathering. Great video with great GREAT advice. And for the guy who asked "do we have to be rich to afford these varieties?" No just smart. I never shop at the big department stores. I shop at discount stores like Burlington Coat Factory (you have to go often and hunt, hunt and hunt. And don't hesitate if you like something because it will be gone in no time flat) I have also discovered that Ebay is a great source. I can't afford Versace, Christian Dior, Brioni or Valentino from the department stores or their boutiques but I have picked up some great designer jackets, sweaters, shirts and suits and ties at a fraction of the cost on Ebay.
Added to my watch later and favorites, would 'love' the video if it was a button! Thanks so much for this, I'm sure I'll be re-watching it again!

Love the advice on sunglasses. I usually wear a hat or cap when I'm out and about and so generally do not approach a building with shades on. Plus, if you wear good shades, you want them in a case and that kind of "squaring away" is such a drag. Peace...

Subscribed. I'm about to turn 44 (eeeks!) but I look like and have more in common with a 34 year old, really. I need to stay young by acting younger, hanging with younger people (not 20 somethings of course), and dressing younger. The fountain of youth.

Reminds me of when one of the cadets at out units dining in night wore a daffy duck satin purple tie to it and sneaker and it was a black tie event.
Totally agree with the Sunglasses rule. I work in the security field, and one tell tale sign of a possible troublemaker is a guy walking around indoors with sunglasses on. You'll get attention, but it won't be the good kind of attention!

Lots of good tips here, so thanks a lot. On the other hand - if someone feels obliged to follow all of these rules all of the time, I'd think one would lose quite a lot of spontaneity, flexibility and just...feelings of not taking things too seriously. Most people would like to be around people who are chill, fun, and non-judgmental, even when it comes to style.
How about you do a new video about how to pick colours and how to blend them with jeans or any thing !

Dress shirts under a sweater - great look, but it always looks like I've got a parachute packed under my sweater. I'm now wearing these new undershirts called Comfortably Collared (bought on Amazon) - it's basically an Under Armour shirt with a normal collar and cuffs. Perfect for wearing under a sweater.

well I agree with most of what this guy has said but I really don't see anything wrong with wearing the matching tie and pocket square set it saves the trouble of trying to match a pocket square with my tie all the time.

you need to make a video on the proper size of tie clip to wear with your tie and wear to wear it(how high or low) cuz it drives me nuts when people dont know how to rock it!
