(Correction):The Tayga 6455B CAN equip the Small Crane & Sideboard Bed while being able to haul a hitch trailer. You have to take off the Spare Wheel to be able to use it.
Well I just learned something interesting. The KRAZ line of trucks, Taygas as we know them are actually not Russian. They are Ukrainian. Interesting… 🤘🤔🤘
I love both Tayga's, but the 6455b is fast becoming my favourite of the two. It looks great, sounds great, can do 2 x medium logs and is great for that, and is superb offroad. The 6436 has the better turning circle, but I think the advantages of the 6455b outweigh this. I feel like the 6436 is a bit thirstier too. Both great trucks though overall.
To me a long frame is a pro not a con. 1) I think better in mud - Take a short wheelbase 4X4, I find when going though mud it's much easier to sink the full vehicle into a mud pit, leading to potentially getting stuck. But with long trucks in mud, a lot of times by the time you sink your rear wheels into mud, you'll already have your front end pushed up on hard ground on the other side. Having a long frame is also helpful crossing soft ice patches for the same reason. 2) Long frame trucks are nicer to drive - Long frame trucks are usually decently steady and has a nice smooth steering curve to them. Short trucks (look at Actaeon or Warthog for worst examples) are often unruly, over steer, and are just all around unpleasant to drive. And honestly Azov 10X10, 8X8's, Voron's, F-750 (long for scouts), all these big long trucks. I never have much issue with snagging them. The Western Star Twin Steer might snag occasionally, but even with that big long truck snags don;t happen often. I guess by there very nature long trucks would be slightly more at risk of snags, but honestly I think it's pretty much a non-issue really. What catches you most is tree branches and they usually depend on bumper clearance. If you are able to get you front wheels over them you'll usually break them. Rocks I find you can usually scrap your bumper up over and slide (or drag with a winch) your frame across. Rocks sometimes are a bother, but in general are nowhere near the threat branches are. So to each there own, but when I hear long wheelbase, personally that's going in my pro's list. In general I much prefer the long trucks in this game.
Actually, I'm 100% with what you have said 11:43. I don't want to play mods even I admire them - I wish DEVS would buy best mods from creators and then sell it as DLC to us. Most of base game trucks are just very bare bones. I feel that after I got Azov 7 it is actually the only truck I could use - mostly because of addones. Tayga 6455B has a crane+bed+trailer combo, so it wins with 6436. I like 6436 more for almost everything - it just looks more Beefy. But this game ends up with what addones truck has and what is a fuel tank - in my opinion. Tayga 6455B is almost perfect truck because of that. I just WISH that roof addone had more then just a tire.
I do admire mods as well. I just feel the developers could make small changes to trucks, but i dont think adding addons to all trucks is a good idea either. Having addons doesnt necessarily make a truck versatile if the truck cannot perform the task with that addon. Also I think if more trucks had more addons we'd see alot of folks stick to one truck only and I think using more trucks than Taygas, Azovs and Vorons is good for players as well
@@NProvince Hmm, cool are the mods that give you the option to add a crane to the back of the truck. However, I do not understand this argument a bit, because it is because of addons that I primarily use Azov 7 and Tayga B, and for heavy tasks Zikz 605r. If other trucks had more addons, then I would use a larger truck fleet. BUT on the other hand, who cares - let everyone play the truck they like. I would love to drive only Bandit and Tayga 6436, because I like them the most, but unfortunately Tayga does not have the crane + bed option, and the Bandit, unfortunately, with a crane or be, falls over too often to trust it.
I started doing the necessary missions to unlock this truck, and I really have to concentrate on doing these missions with patience and 'for the good of the sawmill', because if I keep the frame of mind of 'I can't wait to unlock this truck', the process becomes even more frustrating! Glad to know that the 6455B can indeed equip crane + bed and tow a trailer. Having the same (odd) limitation of its sibling would have really been strange. Cheers! //Rick
Mrbusses has a great Mod on this truck. And yes those trucks do go better in real life than the vanilla trucks in game, thats about all I watch on UA-cam is Russian Trucks beating mother nature. But they still get stuck from time to time, people in reality would just walk off and leave them if they were as bad in real life as they are on the game.
Great video bud! Glad to see similar/same opinions on the fuel and size of the truck. In my quick review vid I put the Tayga's side by side and they are roughly the same length but you can see the big difference in the wheelbase which effects the turning radius!
The 6455B definitely is longer side by side. I just crossed checked that one to make sure. For the crane and sideboard bed that one eluded me. Usually it will un select the spare wheel when you choose the crane and bed combo, but I shoulda double checked that one. Soo that’s my bad on that. I debated editing that part again

One of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard is statement If these trucks could use all the bed add-ons it would be over powered, they can put any thing they want on a truck, and nobody has ever said to the dealer, nah that truck is over powered, I'll buy the weaker one sitting next to it.
I love the mods, specifically the scouts. If I’m doing missions I’m definitely in my original Tayga. Haven’t used any mods for missions but cruising around in a side by side or a corvette with a 10ft lift is fun 😂
I'm mad i can't use my zik605r it looks like fun to drive
