I paid $1200 for my 73 nova. No engine no trans no interior no windshield. Lots of rust. Have a 74 4 door that had a built 454/400. Now everything is getting moved over.
I had a 1973 Pontiac Ventura as my first car. I regretted selling it so I just picked up a 1973 Nova hatchback that I'm restoring currently. Can't wait for the X-Body content!
Thanks for posting the purchase price..I picked up a 74 about three years ago and always wondered....Did I get a good deal, pay too much, or.....? I feel much better now.
nice car bro and that shop shows your doing it right! The 73 is my favorite.I’m in California and it would have cast the same,,And it would have probably been in worse condition for sure.A junked one would cost )5,000 start.I once had a 1973 Oldsmobile omega that looked like a clone of the nova..Fast as fuck too!!I paid $1,500 for it..lol in good condition too.Yeah it had all its OG miles so I bought a project. All I can say is the Rocket is a fast fucking engine. even worn out.. I loved that car..
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called "Abgasbespaßungsverbots- und Kontrollverordnung" in German.
You got a sweet deal, that's one beautiful nova, for the price. $5600 was definitely worth it.

Found my '74 Nova Hatchback sitting at a farm, 27 yrs later. Going to beg to buy it back.

I got my 69 nova for 7k....sweet ride
If you want a stock speedo with good lens I have. It’s yours if you need it
I know this is an old video but my 1974 Nova did not come with a mirror on the passenger side.
It was an option/luxury item back then.
Are you bringing the S10 to LS fest this year?
that would be great, if they have it. I haven't heard if it's up in the air or not, have you? I am actually fairly close LS Fest
Wish I could have found that nova
