There are only 2 football games I will have my eye on. This and Maximum. Just waiting patiently on how they will look game play wise. Should be interesting.

Axis has been continuously getting better. I think the improved O lines will get the gameplay where it needs to be to where hopefully for 25 they improve the graphics because that’s the last thing it really needs IMO

Agreed! Game as gotten loads better over the years. And they know they can't charge more than 20$ at this point. I believe with time this will be a great Madden alternative, they just need more funding
I bought last years Axis and was a bit disappointed, it felt clunky and the players looked a bit stiff. I have no intention however on giving up on this game and am very excited to see the new version this fall! Along with Maximum Football which I feel will become the G.O.A.T. in years to come. This gamehas shown a lot of improvement in a very short amount of time the problem is people comparing it to Madden which has been around since 89 on saga for me but what I can say is if they was around since 92 we would have been had the football game we deserve…it’s not perfect but I love the progression an will definitely support once it’s available
You want EA to actually write new code, possibly complex machine learning code vs patch and paste in retro code, LOL. Isn't that asking too much of a billionaire dollar franchise?
They spend too much time arguing over whether tom Brady's throw power should be a 94 or 95, forgetting he's retired. If they rng player stats and just wrote a good game it'd be in a much better state

In order for the animations to feel good in the game there has to be a variety of them. Like with the blocking there has to be a branching animation for basically all win loss interactions. Bull rush, swim, spin, and speed. Each of those would need an attribute win animation assigned too. So it could be something like bullrush win strength, bull rush win block shed, bullrush win agility, bullrush win technique. Then the inverse bullrush lose strength, agility, technique, and shed. 2-3 animations per each and you would have a bank of 96 animations for just the line interactions this doesn’t cover pulling, double teams, chips, or screen blocking but same thing and that could be another 100 animations right there.

PLayed axis football 21 and the gameplay was not good at all also the franchise mode kept crashing over and over. it has potential sure but its been years im hoping for the best.

Axis Football 23 while not perfect is actually fun and has made great improvements from past titles.
This should absolutely be the game associated with USFL, the championship was a good game the past 2-3 years

I'm having a blast playing this game. Haven't had a console since PS1, lol. Bought a PS5 two weeks ago and for me, it's a lot of fun.
Any word when this will be out on console? Can’t wait to have a real football game to play instead of Madden.
