We saw this movie yesterday. Definitely a fun movie to watch. In the first 10 min it felt like a low rated movie tbh but the more we got in the movie the more we liked it. Thanks for the review 👊
@@natesfilmreviews Yeah, I watched it last night. I love high concept thrillers and the erie thing about this movie is that it seems to be very possible among elite sick rich folks.
@@TrevorWesleyOfficial I always love movies that dive into the twisted elements of the human psyche. It felt like something that could actually be realistic which made it more intense!
Everything was possible in this movie. There were no cameras on the road when they killed the man beneath the car. In a villa like that, too, there were no cameras. At the end police did not visit the villa to search the uncle of the man. At the end the man burns the cars which would make some noise and signs, but still nothing happened.
Movie had some plot holes and yes the writing was slightly poor but the mid act was good. The first and last act had some upside downs still a decent story with poor execution. But worth watching.
The main character was already morally compromised even before he cooked Jose. That's because he readily assumed his friend's identity and got rid of his body. He had no issue committing fraud and tampering with a corpse.
Spoilers in my comment a bit further down! I really enjoyed it; it’s so exciting to stumble across films that you know won’t get too popular, but are totally worth watching. It feels like a privilege to find them, especially by accident! Some issues I had with the film was the lead character’s really awful attempts at deceiving the company. I felt like his excuses and ignorance were so poorly handled, no matter how much under pressure he was. In fact, the pressure should have made him a little bit better at handling it, because the stakes were high. And instead he fumbled every single moment where he didn’t know a detail he needed to 😭 I also know they needed him to have a passport for the story, but when he called the bank I could not stop cringing. He couldn’t even google Jack to find out his mother’s maiden name anywhere? Really? It was little things like that which just made me fully aware I was watching an indie film, and not feeling immersed. Also, the company has ALL this info on him but they are never suspicious enough to ask for photo confirmation from other staff? And the fact his tracker isn’t activated didn’t tip them off? I was fully expecting them to be coy and hint more that they knew the whole time, but that they also knew he was chef too and had no wife and kids waiting for him, so they used him anyways. However, even the joke about him being dead when they put the new tracker in at the end didn’t really feel like it was meant to show they were aware. The writing was always heavy handed, so I took that as another example of on the nose humour. All in all, I DID really like it. I was fully entertained from start to finish! When Jack killed himself, I was actually stunned. And I loved everything with the cop.
I agree with all the little things you just mentioned. There were a lot of moments where the logic didn't make sense and I agree the scene where he called the bank was really bad haha. I did love all the stuff with the cop and the tension at the end was really fantastic. I'm glad I watched it despite a lot of the issues it had!
Revelation of the method. They tell you the truth through a medium you think is fantasy.

Great movie bro
I agree!
Where to watch this😮thanks
It's on Prime Video!
Wher do you find these hidden gems ? I just found it today
I typically a couple times a week check online for new releases and read little plot synopsis to find things that catch my interest.
So, all the guests will have herpes seeing that Jose had it. Can cooking get rid of it?
I hated this movie 😭
It definitely wasn't anything unique, but I had pretty low expectations and a lot of it surprised me!
