"The things that don't cost the most money is the best things". That really hit me. One of my best childhood memories is about me and my dad sitting in his car looking over the ocean with rain falling on the roof while eating mcdonalds. Cheers to simple things
Isn't it wonderful how nature in all her glory reminds us that this is where we belong, this is who we are meant to be, I am so glad you were able to experience this and have peace finally. Thank you for the stunning scenery it looked breath taking, of course i will leave races up to people like you to do but was there in spirit ❤
When you spoke about wanting to go more while the body was exhausted, resonated with me so much. That is an amazing feeling. Love it and enjoy it! Thank you for sharing!
When I competed in sprint distance triathlons, I was always competing with myself, my soul, my thoughts, my physical body, my emotions. It was an amazing experience… more like a “meditation” that keeps unfolding well after you cross the finish line. Thank you for sharing the incredible visuals. What an amazing place to ironically race through.
Do prioritize these experiences. It’s soooo lovely to see you enjoy a moment of deep contentment, grounding, and inspiration! Your happiness makes me happy ☺️❤️
amazing , congrats to you for completing this part of your life , ie the run ... my husband is 73 and while a young man begining at the age of 35 he did so many many hikes / runs ( he started running for a charity for those who had lost still born babies or miscarriages ) as this was so close to our hearts as we had lost 4 babies until our 2 miracles were born ......he used to say when he was running /hiking that his whole being felt part of this wonderful world to be at one with creation , soaring on high as if in flight. So l hope you retain in your heart the powerful feeling you gained on your journey Bless you
my hubby and l love audile every day we listen to our chosen books ....its so relaxing to both of us perfect for drifting away into the story together .........
Stunning landscape!! Truly breathtaking. I’m glad you the race remembered you what you love so much! Hope you’ll experience a lot more of these beautiful adventures! 💚🌲
Kalle, love the experience you had, when you took on this run. It's amazing how being out in nature can change your outload. Best wishes to you on many more adventures in running. And discovering the things that make you, you.
I wonder if you've ever played disc golf? I think you would enjoy it! I bet the courses there would be as challenging as they would be stunning! Beautiful video, I'm very happy for you!
Computers are fun, but nature is definitely better! 🌲 Texas has been too hot the last few months and I haven't been able to go to the park, so I'm seriously nature deprived 😅 Congrats on finishing the race!
I'm envious of your energy, Kalle. Speaking of the 'spiritual' aspect of running, especially in nature, you may enjoy reading/watching about the Marathon Monks of Mount Hiei in Japan. I used to live there and was fascinated by their endurance and will. Running in nature is part of our deepest human instinct, a connection to what makes us 'naturally human'. Thank you for sharing, it was good medicine for the primal aspects of my brain. :)
Congratulations on your Run 🏃♀️ the mountains 🏔 are gorgeous there I also live in the Mountains ⛰ of New Hampshire I love the Mountains 🏔 I can’t imagine living without them thank you for sharing your experience Kalle epic footage !
Thank you Kalle for sharing the truth from your heart of your experience. The video was beautiful. Your videos almost always remind me to find that place in nature and stillness where I can just be and experience God.
What a great video! I want to convey how important it is to enjoy life, our amazing earth and all it has to offer. I am an introvert, who loves living a quiet life, though last night, I got quite the scare, after driving myself to the emergency room at our hospital for what I thought was heat exhaustion, I ended up hearing I had a cardiac issue and will need further testing as they found an abnormality. I am a 61 yr old mom of a 21 yr old daughter, I am super active, was a runner up until a year ago when an injury sidelined me, but seeing your video on this race, will keep me motivated and working harder to stay healthy so I can maybe not run a race like this, but to walk and (jog) the route. A beautiful location that certainly was, so keep enjoying your life as time does fly. Thank you for a nice video, I think after 8 hours in an emergency room, I needed to see this.
Well done in completing the race the views were spectacular. One does need to stand back every now and again and take a break. I constantly tell my children this. Life is hard as you say especially when you live in the city and all those pressures.
I'm glad you enjoyed *Stoner*. I came to it a little late, especially considering that I have a Master's degree in literature. It's absolutely one of my favorite novels, and as you said, such a beautiful--and beautifully written--story.
I love the landscape and miss Swedish summers like crazy right now. Is there a reason why the latest podcast on Spotify is from May? I would love to listen to the episode with Cecilia
@@KalleFlodin I certainly will! Your channel is magnificent and has been one of my main inspirations for starting mine. I actually just began posting shorts from my tiktok today. Thank you for sharing your magical journey!

You and Christina are so much like the people I am reading about. Thanks for the inspiration you provided on your channel to push people to live better peaceful lives.

What an amazing video Kalle! The music and the drone shots and just everything 😍 It truly moved my emotions in a good sense 😊 Your videos are just getting better and better and they were already great before 🖤 Dominika
Your videos are a piece of art.❤️ Every video of yours is different and you are so good at telling a story and awakening emotions in people. For us it's also like that, we spend a lot of time in front of the computer and I feel like sometimes it really messes with our brains. But a day out in nature brings down all the stress levels and we're so happy that we have the Swedish nature right in front of our doorstep.🥰 Can't wait for your next video.
I read ’Stoner’ on a recommendation from Lana Blakely on her UA-cam channel a while ago. It is one of her all time favorite books and it quickly became one of mine. It is a heart-warming, subdued and nostalgic description of an extraordinary ordinary life well lived.
Currently I am revisiting the world of Douglas Adams in his fantastic ”trilogy” starting with 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy'. It is a one-of-a-kind trilogy consisting of five books, the only one in existance I believe. It is a wonderfully silly, insane and hilarious story which always makes me take myself and the world less serious. I have read it multiple times whenever I need that feeling of relaxed silliness a'la Monty Python, but I also always find some "new" ingenious twist I haven't understood in previous read throughs. I am sad that Douglas Adams left this world far too early. The world needs his kind kind of humor right now, and he surely would have described current happenings with phrases like "it's not cricket", but also repeated the single most logical phrase in the entire galaxy; "Don't Panic".
Kalle, you almost made me cry 😀 I experienced your feelings before as well and your words reminded me of the runs and hikes in nature and how very important they are to me! As I'm transitioning into barefoot shoes at the moment., do you mind me asking, if you're wearing them as well? I couldn't really say for sure, but your shoes looked a bit like Vivobarefoot? I would be so interested in your experience there, as you are a certified running coach, right?
@@KalleFlodin Thanks for your advice! Yes, I only wear barefoot shoes now in my daily life. For running I first transitioned from very fluffy shoes to zero drop Altra Running Shoes with a very wide toe box. But yeah, my next plan or wish would be to switch completely.
@@KalleFlodin thank you. Love your videos, but I was especially excited about this one. Beginner runner here. Almost 42 years old. I enjoy running in the woods the most. God made things so beautiful. How can people not see God is love and wisdom and His glory is all over His creation? It's man made things and the evil man kind chooses to do that kills destroys and ruins everything. I encountered Jesus just over 5 years ago and I too now have a simple life and enjoy the beauty of nature/creation. I hate manmade stuff - it literally makes you sick but the stuff the Lord made just WOW it is mind-blowing and healing and I'm just in awe of the LORD and His marvellous works.
