The actor who plays hot pie is so underrated! He use to be on a show over here in the uk called beaver falls - he was incredible in that. It's a real shame we don't see more of hot pie in the series. He has perfect delivery, timing and his facial expressions make the show that little bit better haha.

It's refreshing to see book readers that don't inherently want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't read them. About the only major plot point that wasn't spoiled for me by comments was the Red Wedding, I even heard about Neds death from a damn youtube comment -_-. Personally I started reading the books because of the show and think they both supplement each other well.
