- The Chinook helicopters play an important role on Operation PRESENCE-Mali. They transport the medical crew, medical equipment, and patients during medical evacuations. One of our deployed Chinook pilots, Captain Ruis, explains.
Loved the C6, carried one in Serbia. 1200 searing 7.62mm rounds per minute of hot fmj.
As long as it's actually firing.
Thank you for everything you do, brave young lady and your team.
Great video !! Thank you for your service. Stay safe and be well. :)
Nice video and presentation, you and the crew give hope to the fellow soldiers
Beautiful CH-147 F and beautiful pilot . I’m proud a Canadian
Video about the medical crew onboard would be awesome as well!
Wish i was still at the Sqn. Youre a great pilot Jakie! BATB
Just toured Borden army base ,very cool👌👌👌
Its technically an Air Force base
Boeing builds these choopers in the US 🇺🇸 Unfortunately we only have CH-47F and MH-47G (Spec Ops Variant) that's only for the U.S. at the time, wish the Army had some CH-147F in the fleet.
It's so cool! I wish I was her!
I want to be a chinook helicopter pilot so I can have some fun talking the Canadian troops somewhere fun like Magic Mountain Fun Centers just like my favorite girly chinook of the helicopter pilot,Jackie Ruins.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
You're the right sex and not white, you will be placed ahead of at least 100 better skilled men the second you sign up. Go for it!

Why are we working with the Chinese military? Let's be real, they're who we're going to be training to fight in the future. They don't need to know any of our military capabilities. We're a small military; our solders professionalism and training is our biggest strength.
Yo, that is straight up CHINESE ARMY working with Canadian Army. 0:26 --- What the fuck dude.
Yea, the United Nations has many members.
@@Birch12430 Just kind of coincidental that the biggest human rights violator is working with an organization to “increase” world peace. And also the fact that they are an enemy of ours and we’re just teaching them things they are definitely Going use against us.
It’s a UN Mission. They’re there to help the people
You are a straight up racist
Still think Canada should of had this helicopter back in the 90s When I was in.
Canada has been flying the Chinook way before the 1990's !
@@14goldmedals really
We sold our brand new chinooks to the Netherlands during a conservative government
Canada did have Chinooks prior to the 90s but they were taken out of service. A newer model of the Chinook was brouught into service during our involvement in Afghanistan.
Well 5 years in the CF during the 90's I never saw one
I want to be a helicopter pilot.
@@CanadianForcescanadiennes shame on you guys. The UN ... really..?

So she's the entertainment for the guys while deployed?
No you asshat. She's an officer and a pilot.
Looks old and belongs in the dump. Do we live in 2005?
I know right? I mean, tablets are a thing now guys, burn all paper. It's like, something new has been invented, destroy everything that works but is old. We should start doing that with people too. And pets. Any dog over 3 is now to be executed and eaten by their host family. In fact, _all_ pets are now outlawed. We've had Tamagotchis for over 20 years, people, enough with the living animals as pets!
@@danielwatkins688 Are they hand- me-downs or are we contracting them?
They're brand new straight from Boeing
We aren't the only military to fly them, you know that right? Pretty much every NATO air force uses them. They are an old design but the doesn't mean they don't have their uses. Airlift is one of their coolest roles, for artillery, smaller vehicles etc.
FusionC6 exactly. Seen videos of them slinging arty over Valcartier, Quebec and they had skis on too. Pretty cool.
