The Mesa Boogie 5:50 + Head Is a Tone Monster Extremely Versatile Much different than the combo versions. An instant classic Have one in my studio along 6 other Mesa boogie riggs and the 5:50 Plus a few paddles and the sky is the limit

How is the head better than the combo? I have many heads and combos and my Express plus is my favorite

​@MrMojabo I didn't say better I said different I have played through the combo and it is a great- amp I think maybe there's more Headroom definitely plugged into a Mesa 4X12 Cab you can't go wrong with a Mesa 550 Plus combo or the head I'm actually thinking about getting one for smaller venues
