In both Aldi and lidl its 4x cans for £3.49 and 4.5%, great value and great beer. Aldi's is near identical andcalled Reichenbacher, which I slightly prefer as it has a stronger taste.
This beer is sold in plastic cans in germany and predomimantly drunken by homeless people. Normal people in germany would launch it, if you offered them a bottle of this beer. 0,5 Liter costs 0,42€. That is 0,35£. Cheers!
@@Mashamazzi Yeah, alcohol is pretty cheap in germany. The most well known beer in germany is Krombacher. It is a solid beer and not on the cheap end. 0,5 Liter of it cost about 1,65€ = 1,39£.
Not drink that crap after the Euro final 😂 i like an ice cold San Miguel but i chose a British cider instead, it made no fucking difference we still lost 😂
Can you do videos comparing an Aldi own product and the exact same product but LIDL's version at the same time and giving your opinion on which you find better? I think it would make great viewing!
I’d imagine even tho it’s brewed in France it will still be brewed to the German purity law, can’t go wrong for a cheap and cheerful lager but as u say it’s just a shame the ABV is going down on everything
Madri is just the old (4.6%) recipe for Carling repackaged - they lowered the alcohol in Carling to below 4% then had the nerve to start marketing the original as a "premium" beer supposedly from Spain!
Dave please can you review those little french stubby beers that come in packs of 12 - most supermarkets seem to have their own versions of them. Fuckin frogs though.
@@BlueVanManhave you tried their fruit ciders , with ice on a summer's evening brilliant. They do some great beers . They Excelsior used to be 4.3 % now due to the new laws it's 3.4% 🤬🤬🤬
I am commenting seconds into the video. But that dog ornament looks just like Doodle (or one of the Doodle’s). I am scared to ask, but it wasn’t purchased to commemorate his memory was it? As he was a young dog, and I enjoyed seeing him in your videos. I hope he is still with us.
I tried this many months ago and found it foul. Was more like a wine than beer. And a German beer that is produced in France is a NO from me. Totally sh!t if you ask me.
Here in the Netherlands a 0.5 liter can of Perlenbacher pilsner 4.9% costs €0.67 . It is only available in cans here.
That's a decent beer but the Aldi Reinbacher is even better at £3.49 for 4 tins! Been buying both for about 4 years now.

Crazy
You’re joking, cheapest beer I could find on any place that sells it was $4AUD and that’s for a 375ml can

Still better than UK brewed beer
Personally prefer Aldi’s Rheinbacher myself.
Good content as usual though mate.

Try the Steinhauser from Aldi and give it a review Dave, sensational beer!

Fair review mate but I thought this was more like a Helles than a pils. But I'm definitely no expert 😁

Get it down ya
Had it a few years ago. And it was ok. Other reviews arent so favourable.
