What a fun video! Congratulations on completing the first week of the challenge! I like creating for POD a lot, but I am not YET a very good marketer, so I've put that stream to the side for a bit. I like many of your other ideas and they have inspired me to do one for my channel (obviously geared to my content) when I can do this challenge. I like the merch, and the Posted>Perfect is calling my name. I'm looking forward to the introvert video...I really could use a bit of burnishing.
The confidence on camera for introverts is definitely a video I woukd be checking out. That is definitely were I am lack at the moment. The blue colour crew.

I have noticed that my content views diminished substantially, so instead of putting 8 hours into a video that gets very few views I have been posting mostly shorts on UA-cam, Instagram,and TikTok, daily. I seem to be getting results/ consistent views. My intention is to create more subscribers, then start placing regular videos again. My question is: would something like this be recommended? It almost feels like due to more content creators on this platform, maybe UA-cam is trying to save money be preventing us from getting monetized… Or? Maybe I should stop being a baby and just suck it up and create better content. 😂 I would love to hear your insight in general. Thank you for being You Kaya, and keep on slaying it!
Hello Hello! I am SO sorry for the delay I thought I had answered this! I think it depends on the overall goal. Social media for me is where I get the most immediate satisfaction, both usually in views and potential to get paid (i.e. brand deals). UA-cam is the long game for me, where hopefully deeper connections can be formed and a greater return on investment (eventually). BUT it's tricky if you are doing it on the same platform/channel--i.e. posting a lot of shorts to get subs and then hopefully converting them into long form viewers later, because UA-cam has kinda shown us that those are often two different types of subscribers with different watching habits. So you might end up with the numbers, but they might not watch when you go back to long form because they aren't primed for that/didn't sub for that.
ooh I appreciate this! I definitely want to take the time to clean mine up so I can sell them.. Maybe in week 9 when I'm supposed to generate passive income! 👀

I'm well despite having disappeared off the face of the earth 😂💜 It actually means so much that you noticed, it's easy to get in our heads and retreat and think no one is noticing our absences. I actually have a couple things brewing behind the scenes that has pulled me away--but I plan to return soon!! And it's actually partly in line with your question. Shortform has a LOT of potential, the pay off feels quicker, and it's still where I make most of my money, specifically with brand deals on my hair and beauty Instagram account. BUT I still see so much potential in long form, it allows us to connect more deeply with our audience, and share more in depth, valuable information, and of course there's the monetization where you can be paid for your organic content, not just relying on brand deals... If your heart is really in shortform and you're seeing consistency and success, I say keep it going, but maybe make a commitment to some interval of long (even once a month), and try to funnel that short form audience there.

Notion bundle would sell, a lot of creators don't have the time or automation necessary to keep track of everything.
