I used (and still do) a gtx 1060 3gb for like 8 years now when i bought my prebuilt for $500. It still works great but is definitely showing its age on the triple A titles.

if ur lucky to find an rx 580 8gb for about $60 on ebay with a dell optiplex 5080 or 7050 for around $80 on ebay you could get a nice gaming setup with $140 (before tax and shipping) oh yeah side note be sure you know what you're getting will all fit! because i made the careless mistake of getting a full sized gpu that only fits in mid towers and bigger! whilst i have a sff build but ill be using a pcie connector adaptor very soon for a external gpu which i hope will turn out well. my friend also may give me his low profile rtx 1660 super (same performance as rx 580) so i could fit it in my optiplex!

that's a very good upgrade to the PC. I'd have opted to spend a little more for the 6gb 1060 from zotac and also a cheap thermalright cooler (if it supports that socket) and to punch some air holes in the bottom of the case for gpu airflow. You'd still be under half the wattage power supply by using the 1060 and this cpu combo, which would leave some wiggle room for gpu overclocking.

Id love to see more videos with single player games like red dead 2, shadow of the tomb raider, gta5, shadow of war etc. I hear e sports and instantly roll my eyes. Just a suggestion for some verity
Not bad for a old workstation PC It is a shame that particular Xeon CPU dose not support quad channel RAM, but upgrading to 64GB of EDO RAM is cheaper than non EDO RAM. Frankly though with their age, and lack of Windows 11 support I'd just stick with a used RX580 ($50-$70 in the wild) so next year when Win 10 becomes EOL you can just turn it into a Steam Machine with Bazzite.
Bought one of these, and slapped a 4060 in it for fun Apex runs comp 160fps - 135 all high, fortnite can push 120 - 200 comp but cpu limited so I ended up buying a p520 for a better cpu the w-2135 for $180 with 32gb ram is much better than this xeon, but def a solid build for 1060-1070-rtx 3050 8gb or rx 6600 - 6600xt range for 8 pin cards just do 6 to 8 75 from pcie 75 from cable = 150w max.
I built a similar setup for my mom. Not gonna lie, even if the CPU is old, I did spend some money maxing it out for my mom, like 2 years ago.
