Lovely spot Gray - like a glade almost. Ideal for relaxing with the hammocks. Nice setups there. I imagine your friend learnt a bit and enjoyed himself. You certainly have the wisdom to impart. All the best. Marl
Nice to see you out, clever little hack making the under quilt from a sleeping bag, the cheapest hammock I got was from eBay £2.85 and still used by a friend. Just goes to show that we don’t need to spend that much money to enjoy the outdoors. All the best Alex
Brilliant video Grays! Real good job on that under blanket 👏🏻 Great little fire and set up and love the opening of the beer with the spine of the knife 😂👌🏻 Great food too looks like you had a real good time. Thanks for sharing! Take care and enjoy your weekend 😊 Chris
Dual purpose Mora! Loved that wee bit. Looked like a great night. Never done a hammock camp as I worry about all the tying, knots and stuff...looks complicated Gray....😣. Cheers Paul
It may be more gear, but I always sleep really well in my hammock. Desperados is probably one of my favourite beers! I love the way you make stuff from nothing, it really shows you don't need to pay loads for decent gear 👌
Hi gents I have actually been looking at the otraki hammock as it is lighter than my DD fronline hammock. Not to bulky and the equipment which goes with this hammock I think is pritty good. Just purchased . Out with it this weekend. Thanks for showing this video. Brian (Bushcraft Piper)
Never slept in a hammock before, mainly because I always sleep on my front, so unsure how that would work😳. I came over from my friend 'Minute on the Mountain' and have to say that does not sound like a Dorset accent? Cheers Alan
Hi Alan, cheers for watching, if u r a front sleeper hammock camping is not for u, however an afternoon nap in a hammock is not to be sneezed at😁😁. Nice informative video Grays we’ve been looking at doing Hammock camping but don’t want to spend a fortune on hammocks as we don’t know if we would like it, would you recommend the O Traki hammock?
My mate had a good sleep in it but he is quite short he was going to let his 9 year old have it if it didn’t work. . Personally I think that there are better options available. Best thing to do is borrow one then decide. I paid about £45 for my double hammock(5years ago) but the single Ticket to the Moon hammocks are very reasonable and if u already have a tarp u can buy an Amazon bug net for £15. Just some ideas. Good luck.

That’s the problem. Once we hit our age it’s wisdom not beauty. 😂😂cheers mate
Hi Mark. Just to let u know I could open your reply that said “wisdom is the beauty “. But at least my wife agrees. 😁😁
@@GraysOutdoors Hey Gray no worries. Google is a strange animal. Aaah, good o your wife.
Nice set up. You do find some nice spots! A night of beer and burgers too. Not sure how much better it could get!
