This is a triple whammy! I'm celebrating the 1 million view milestone of my first Lore Accurate Vergil Combat video, celebrating Devil May Cry's 22nd Anniversary, and finally getting the threequel out! Thank you guys so much for that! Now I shall grant you motivation in return. Haha! I thought of all the different ways I could go about LAVC3, and this is it!
As for DMC's 22nd Anniversary, hoo! I got into DMC 20 years ago in 2003, and the series has left quite the impression and stuck with me ever since! I love it for a lot of reasons! The memories it gave me, music, and the fact that Dante and Vergil are my comfort characters. The series has also ushered in the pinnacle of stylish action and hack n' slash.
It's so difficult to imagine what the gaming landscape would be like without DMC! It begs the question, what else would you have to inspire Bayonetta, God of War, Hi-Fi Rush, Metal Gear Rising, the modern Ninja Gaiden, etc.? The fact that DMC was the one to be the inspiration for all of them speaks volumes! And out of all those, and just gaming in general, DMC continues to remain my favorite. Of course, I have other favorites as well, like the Batman: Arkham trilogy, Red Dead Redemption, Super Smash Bros., Tekken, Uncharted, etc.
Yet, DMC just scratches that itch like no other! Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Tekken come pretty close, I'd say. Although, Tekken 8 may be competing with DMC5 for the #1 spot when the time comes. 👀 I'm so grateful to be part of an amazing community like DMC's. My UA-cam channel was building up to DMC5 for 12 years!
All this time later, and I'm so glad and happy to still be producing content for Devil May Cry like this. It's the gift that keeps on giving! I've even met and bonded with some amazing people along with my subscriber base over the years because of it. So, in retrospect, you could say it was life changing! Thank you all once again, especially the whole team at Capcom, Hideki Kamiya, Hideaki Itsuno, Matthew Walker, Daniel Southworth, Reuben Langdon, Johnny Yong Bosch, Casey Edwards and Victor Borba!

@@wandeco___no, it's just normal Vergil, the video has some mods but they are just adding some things, like the Rising Sun in mid air and some vfx, the gameplay is primarily normal Vergil without mods

Tbh Beowulf should have gotten the energy form treatment like Force Edge or at least let Vergil have access to the melee moves with his bare body. Helps stay true to lore that Vergil doesnt have beowulf anymore.

There is no "mod" there is only one thing at play here.

In 4 and 5, Vergil’s DT gives him extended finishers for quite a few attacks/combos (and this is coming from a console player so I can confirm it ain’t mods)

Not a stupid question at all! It's a combination of both. I'm playing in turbo mode but also doing all of the inputs as fast as I can!
