I was here. Unbelievable. It was June. Day after he was in my hometown Alkmaar. It was a bloody hot summer day. Small Venues. Crowd went crazy. Best voice in the World. I have never ever and i will probably never ever hear somebody sing like Meat . Listen from 3.07. Nobody can do that. It is just unbelievable. I can listen to that part over and over again. And it makes me think for so many years what the hell happend to his voice from end 1993 till now...it makes me so sad......love ya Meat.
@@bartmartin5155 he's incredible. No one else comes close to him vocally for those shivers down the spine, the upwelling of awe and joy at hearing that powerful Voice that somehow manages to seduce you and break your heart at the same time.
His voice during this period might have been as good as it ever was in concerts. Not ripping it to shreds like he did in the late 70s. Still strong and clear. Cleaner than his voice became in the 2000s. Would have been super cool to see shows during this era.
If ML had the entire catalogue at his disposal in the late 80s, the live recordings would have been amazing... His voice was in great shape. If he'd had BOOH2 out by then, it would have been great to hear.

I saw him once in Buffalo at a smaller venue 3K seats or so. It was a great show. The Piano player was amazing on this song. It was a great concert.
