It was prettier without the fringe
The flour/paint technique is so interesting! Thanks for posting

The lamp is very 70’s but the material was perfect for that shade. Turned out beautiful. Loved the transfers you used. Thanks for the lessons.

Thank you so much!!
Hiii! That lampshade was the greatest! Brought me back to sleepovers at my granny’s home! Wish my thrift shops sold awesome materials ! Thank you for sharing your ideas and tricks and new ways to craft😊
Love it!! Great memories ❤️
Great projects!! I love the Pom Pom trim on the lampshade!! It took it to another level!! What a great vintage find!! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Fun .... sooo many ideas rolling around my head... love all the ideas.
Glad you like them!
That lampshade is really far out!!! I am really digging it! Would that technique work on a flat, unpleated lampshade?
Yes it does!
Brilliant Ideas! I especially like the batik idea - so easy to do. Have you ever applied a second layer of batik? To the brown one, for example, re-crack it and apply another color paint. Or clean/dry and start another layer of batik in a complementary color.
That's a great idea!
LOVE YOUR ART
Wow. Amazing fabric redo’s. I’ve never tried to cover a pleated shade. I’m painted roses 🌹 onto my sister’s lamp shade. I love how printed onto the fabrics.
That's a great idea!
Absolutely fascinating! Thanks for sharing with us!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So awesome! Love all of your techniques! Can't wait to try them! You are so good.
Thanks so much 😊
I think it would be beautiful to spray paint the basket black and destress it too.
Yes ma’am. I love the style of your lamp shade. ❤
Me too!!
The technique is very interesting. Can see it coordinating a guest ro with linens.
Yes❤️
The flour crackle painted material was so creative. Definitely want to try it.
It's so good!
Everything you do always turns out phenomenal !! Love all your diys❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!
For the printed fabric, I find it easier to iron the fabric to the shiny side of freezer paper, no spray adhesive needed, and it peels right off
Yes, that can work sometimes but I do find if you’re not using a good quality wax paper it doesn’t adhere very well
The lampshade is amazing, I love it. The fabric is definitely from the 70's. My 1st Apt after I got married in 73 was with those greens and blues. I also had the big flowered wallpaper in orange and yellow very popular in the kitchen. You surely found a treasure in that lamp. The carving is gorgeous. Great projects and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing!! Great memories ❤️
Oh my goodness! What a great idea! Thank you for sharing 🎉❤
You are so welcome!
That flour technique just blew my mind!! Tfs! 🤗💕
You are so welcome!
For the table top you could have actually just sanded the edges going downward and it would have completely taken the fabric off.
Oh my goodness I love that lampshade
Thanks 😊
These projects are beautiful! I love the diy ribbon and print transfer
Thank you so much!
I love the Batik fabric, so yummy!
It's so good!
Love the flour project!
Thank you! 😊
Great projects. I thought the lampshade was perfect before you added the fringe.
Very awesome like your ideas thank you
Glad you like them!
The lampshade is my favourite but everything is beautiful. 🌷
Thanks 😊
You redeemed yourself with the flour printing on fabric which looks fab. I have used to create batik like prints and it is both amazing and fun.
Wonderful!
The lampshade idea is phenomenal!
Thanks 😊
Love love love that lamp base! And for free, wow. And what a creative thing to do with the lampshade. It's SO hard to find lampshades these days. Movers tore all mine, I'm going to put on my thinking cap. Mine aren't pleated, but .... Great ideas, thanks!
Thank you so much!
Soooo pretty.
Thank you!

Have fun!
Thanks for the idea of printing on fabric
You are so welcome!
Really loving your lampshade! ❤ Great ideas on your vlog!
So glad!
Thank you love it from NAMIBIA
You are welcome
It didn't need the fringe it was beautiful without it
I wanted something fun for my craft room ❤️
@@OurUpcycledLifeThe pompous make it truly groovy! I’ve been looking for a barrel lampshade like that since I first saw you do this. The only one I’ve found was plastic and crumbling away. I’m determined to keep looking! I’m glad this was included because yesterday my cats knocked my antique floor lamp so it was leaning, and now my brand new, more than I wanted to spend lamp shade has a big scorch! I’ll be looking for fabric tomorrow!
The lamp is one of those that needs the big incandescent bulb with the extra large diameter base. Every time one burns out, I keep them. It seems like they could be made into something clever. Any ideas?
Yes, but that's 70s actual pompom fringe! ;) I have the poncho to prove it.
I like your projects very much. In particular I love the faux batik. My mind is flying through the possibilities. Thanks so much for your generous sharing.
Love the pleated lampshade👏👏👏👏
Love the printer fabric technique ❤
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely awesome!
Glad you like it!
The yellow and white fabric on the lampshade is 1970s greatness 🎉❤😊 i love it
Yes! Thank you!
@@OurUpcycledLife I often find myself looking for things made then, or look as if they were, there is something nice and calming about the colors and patterns...
Love everything you created and will be such to try on a project. The lampshade was awesome.
Thanks so much 😊
Brilliant lamp shade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks 😊
Deidre this is a fantastic video! Thank you
You are so welcome!
Simply amazing! Really like these projects. TFS 🙏🏽🥰
Thanks so much! 😊
♥️everything especially your lamp shade❤thank you ♥️♥️♥️it all
You are so welcome!
So far the fabric for the lampshade reminds me of the 1970's. Something I'd see in the old tv show Three's Company 😊. When you was doing the pink table and fabric top I was thinking Mrs. Roper would love that 😅. I guess we both grew up watching that show. 🤜🏽🤛🏼💜🧡🧡.
Oh yes!!! 70’s vibes

You do such great, real art things in your videos. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I need to watch again and take notes.
Question: Could the flour and acrylic paint be done on a cotton T-shirt? Could the shirt go in the washer? This is beautiful!
Yep you sure can
I love all your ideas ❤
