My opinion is that today's young people 35 and under have awful ideas about how life should be, and in the current world, a show like this wouldn't be interesting nor acceptable, what a horrible shame!!!!!
I don't know about anyone else, but I have always been in love with Grant Goodeve. He's been the subject of many many nighttime fantasies, and the cause of just as many nocturnal emissions!
I remember the eighties when I was a young girl I used to want my mom to hurry up and get off the phone for my boyfriend could call me that was before everybody had cell phones
I beg to differ. I grew up with this show. And, although it was & still is one of my favorites, it WAS NOT the greatest family show of all time! That honor would have to go to "The Munsters", hands down.
I'll even add Leave it to Beaver! Ward Cleaver ( Hugh Beaumont), was probably the best T.V. dad ever, and June his wife( Barbara Billingsley)was Sensational and Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!
There's this theme to the 70s kid look. And it's always the little brother who's a nuisance. Bowl cut and chubby cheeks. And usually wearing a sports team shirt with the number 8 on it.
This season 3 intro is by far the best of the whole series, why can't we have shows like this anymore???

@@Nacho-Mamma Ok The Munsters were great, Fred Gwynne and Yvonne De Carlo were superb entertainers and the show had it's moments!

Agreed !!!!!
So good
Such a wonderful show, and its life lessons do not really date.
You just had to Love Nicholas.....;)
Adam Rich was so cute and helped make the show sensational!
RIP a sad time, I watched the show because of him being about the same age. I had the same hair then and almost looked like him.

This hour long sitcom thing never really caught on. (The Love Boat is the only time it really worked)...
Adam Rich. Cutest child star ever
It's the bowl cut and the fat cheeks.
Especially here in this season 3 premiere, it puts tears in your eyes knowing he's not here anymore 😢😢😢
Its red engineer
RiP
