I've used this quite a bit and am making some videos about it. The Uber, the German Power and Invicto are all quite good. The BOSS pedals are good fun too.
Upgraded my original ReAmp for the $10 offer. Well worth the price to say the least. The Arkon and Purple Nightmare are my personal favorites so far. So many great offerings in this suite and your presets were all killer.
Recording the SOL-100 and British Vintage as a layered quad track setup, with one amp on each side, unboosted, with a 6 string guitar in E flat standard, probably sounds uncomfortably similar to 90% of EVH's material.
Great review and play! Many thanks for the presets, love AA but i miss more presets for an inmediat experience, not a patience tweaking guy. Yours will be very enjoyed. Thanks!!
Some killer stuff as always, Johan! Awesome demo... and that Arkon DID sound pissed 😄 I love that midrange bite you got with the Uberschall preset as well. Please please please tell me that you're gonna post this in the AA group too. Everybody has to see this!
Thanks for sharing the presets. Maybe AA could work with other artists to create preset packs, sort of like NDSP does, but AA could sell them separately for a few bucks
You can actually use the pedals that come with ReAmp 2 with the Prestige - you can boost the front of the Prestige with a pedal similar to Boss' Metal Zone or Heavy Metal, which comes with ReAmp 2. I am actually a fan of making the Prestige have an Edge of Breakup/light crunch tone, then slamming the front with an Overdrive, HM-2, and RAT as a triple dirty boost, with all three gain knobs around 2 or 3 o'clock or so, all the pedal volume knobs dimed, and the amp's gain on 4. Fiddle with the tone knobs to taste. Turn off the pedals (save for the overdrive) and crank the gain on the amp back up to around 6, and use that setting to double track your rhythm guitars. Instant In Flames Colony tones :D and if you do your non-chainsaw track on a 5150 voiced amp, Clayman, and if you do the same thing on the British Gain amp, and pair it with a boosted British 34 mod you get their latest album (IRL he uses a JVM205H and JCM 800 in parallel for live and studio, with the chainsaw in the JCM amp and he swaps it for another SD-1 pedal as a boost for solos). All their stuff after Come Clarity was just 5153 and various Marshall amps layered over one another.
Thank you so much for watching! Link to the presets in the video is posted in the description. Happy riffing! 😎
Great demo and riffs Johan. Thanks for sharing your presets! The 10$ upgrade for the owners of the previous ReAmp version was simply a no brainer
Thank you so much! Yeah man, Audio Assault always brings the bang for the buck amp sims 😃🤘🏻

Bad ass. I've not gotten around to trying that many of the Reamp 2 amps, but I love how I got them for only 10 bucks as I had reamp 1
Thanks dude! Yeah man, it's a steal for sure!

I wish they'd put the berry amp in amp locker
Could maybe be problematic since it's a signature amp. But who knows? 😃

Wow, that's a really detailed explanation for how you can achieve those sounds, awesome! 🤙🏻🤘🏻
A lot of thanks!!!❤, one question, i am using EMPEROR for an new prog teme (Opeth stile), What amp of Reamp2 can you recommend? Thanks!!!
You bet! 🤘🏻 Hmm, Opeth has used a lot of Marshall amps in the past, so maybe the JCM800 or the Friedman would do the trick?
@@johanlund sure these amps works god!!!, thank man and have a noisy weekend
Awesome! Thanks, The same for you 😃🤘🏻
How different is it from version 1? I have version 1 but not sure what new things i get in version 2. Nice sound btw
Also if you upgrade are you prohibited from using v.1 since v.1 1 have more amps overall no?
Thanks man! Imo the tone quality is much better over all. And you get the upgraded 3D dual cab loader with nice sounding IRs. Aaand my presets 😉
Not sure about the second question though, best to email their support and ask.
You can keep the v1 Nooo problem
Is this an update to reamp studio? Or a totally separate purchase?
@@MrLordal I think you can update Re-amp 1 to this if you own that, but hit up Audio Assault support just to make sure. 🙂🤘🏻
@@johanlund thanx I will look into it
