  • This is the most amazing vegan red velvet cake recipe thanks to its moist, soft, lightly chocolate cake, topped with a simple vegan frosting. This cake is simple, but has a perfect velvet texture! This cake is recognizable with its bright red color offset by a white, creamy frosting.
It's perfect to serve for birthdays, holiday events, Valentine's Day, and more!

NOTE: You can replace the oil in this recipe with Applesauce! Works amazingly well.

Thank you so much for your comment! 😊 Great news - all of my recipes, including this one, are completely dairy-free, so no cow's milk is needed! For the frosting, I use plant-based milk alternatives, such as almond milk or soy milk, along with dairy-free butter to keep it vegan-friendly. If you have any other questions or need specific tips, feel free to ask! 💚

Looks so yummy. Can’t believe how red that batter is before you bake it. Some might call it KC Chiefs red!

You can try adding beets - this is the old-fashioned way they used to make this cake. But it will be a darker red and not vibrant. You can also use beet powder or hibiscus powder. Hope this is helpful!
